Dragonfruit, hibiscuses, & pineapples exploded after we repotted in this stuff
All inclusive product. Lightweight and fast draining. It seems pricey but I did add it in my 20 gallon pots to some separate coco coir& perlite. The price is really worth it especially when you can get the big bags.

Genuine, not one of the knock offs. Was moist upon arrival.
Best buying option. It wasn't crusty and dry like my local grow shop. Moisture was excellent. Highly recommend this dealer!

Miracle's happen with this soil
I am in LOVE with this soil made by Fox Farm AND with this seller LA Hydroponics. This is not the full name of the seller. I will come back and edit this post using the correct name because they deserve a full Shout-Out. This soil performs miracles in potted plants ðŠī. You need not add anything to this soil during the seedling stage. It has PERFECT ðĨ° DRAINAGE. You won't get that muddy effect that other so called Miracle soils can easily get. It comes light and airy out of the bag. I'm a new grower. Using the same seeds, I got almost triple the growth that I got using that other soil. I went from a 5 gal bucket to a 15 gal grow bag within 2 weeks. I ran out of soil. I immediately ordered 4 huge bags. Ordered it on a Thursday afternoon with an estimated delivery the following Monday. I contacted the seller on Friday to see if I could expedite the order and was willing to pay. They told me that they couldn't change anything because it was already shipped. However, when I got it, they relabled the shipment first Fed-Ex overnight. The next thing I know, it was sitting on my door step 1st thing Saturday morning. Now, all 4 of my girls are sitting pretty.I have six more that will need the same.

best "plug and play" soil for the money.
I originally used this soil specifically for indoor cultivation and have been pleased with the results. In 2019 I moved to a rural area in the mountains of N E Ca. with a short summer growing season(about 90 days) and very rocky, poor local soil. I am an avid gardener and cultivate other plants besides cannabis(roses, stonefruits, figs, wisteria, jasmine, etc) I have found this soil to be excellent for most horticultural applications, I have done side-by-side comparisons of fox farms' soil with Roots organic and Coast of Maine bagged soil, and find the FFOF to perform better longer. A very good bag soil all in all.

Didn't come with all THCity stakes
What i like: premixed with nutrients, easy to useWhat I don't like: came with a few fungus gnats, the nutrients may be too hot for seedlings, I might try happy frog next since other buyers are stating it is less hot than FFOFDon't get me wrong this is wonderful stuff when transplanting 3 week seedlings, in my opinionEdit: I decided to go with FoxFarm Strawberry Fields and the texture of it is soooo fluffy ð good stuff

Sold expired soil not good.
So I purchased this in Sept. Not realizing at the time both bags were sold beyond their expiration date as shown in the pic. Due to a close family member passing from COVID I was unable to use it at the time. Fast forward to todays date and with seeds germinating I realize I was sold old dirt. Guess I have to visit a nursery to get something else from someone else.12/13 Update: Well no one else close to where I'm at has anything close. So after careful inspection beyond a few dry spots I gave it a good mix and added some good clean water to add a bit and potted up. So time will tell how it performs. Will update the rating after I see results.12/15 Update : A rep from FoxFarms reached out to me and to put a few issues to bed. While it's not listed on their website and info on the web from trusted resources seems to be incorrect, the date stamp on the bag is not a expiration date but a "Born On" date and the bags are generally good for 2 years from that date. That being said the rep said and I quote "I would also like to note that we strongly encourage customers to purchase our products from independent garden centers and hydro stores, who are our authorized retailers. We do not sell to Amazon nor do we ship our products from our facility to fulfill Amazon orders. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee products that have been purchased from Amazon, eBay, or other online sellers since they are a large marketplace for third party sellers and we do not know how they are storing, handling or advertising our products."So take this with a grain of salt, learned a few things and have a direction to go. Update on the soil, things are progressing well and after the initial rehydration working as expected. Going to rate it a 4 out of 5 for a final rating due to lack of information on shelf life of their products being readily available.
