The large Aunt Kook's Apple Cider jar is my new go-to candle. I think it looks better, smells better, and burns more cleanly than that "other" well-known candle company -- and for about the same price. And it has a double wick, so the candle burns down cleanly with no wax residue on the inside of the jar!It looks great even when not lit, with an elegant glass jar, checkered cloth ribbon, and black metal lid. The scent is fantastic but not overpowering and nauseating like the smell of some other brands. And the price, while not inexpensive, is comparable to what that other big candle brand charges per ounce.I'm on my fifth A Cheerful Giver candle and, contrary to what other reviewers have reported, have never had any issues with soot, unevenly burning wicks, or wicks going out. In fact, these wicks earn my praise for how well they burn down -- they don't curl up, flicker, or produce excess soot like so many others out there, and I find that I don't even need to trim them as they burn away on their own at just the right rate to maintain a constant, even flame.This is a great candle that makes my home smell fantastic -- it's one that I'll keep coming back to!

Fills the house with a yummy spiced apple scent. Candle is clean burning and long lasting. I will be ordering again.

These candles smell amazing. I'm very happy with this purchase. It burns evenly (a little fast though) and looks nice in the glass jar.

I got boxer dogs and well anybody who has ever had one knows they are gassy. This candle smells good and makes the whole living room smell nice. I have tried cheaper candles out there but so far this the best bang for the buck I have found.

I love candles!!! I have recently discovered A Cheerful Giver brand this year. I love the look & presentation of these candles. They come with a nice lid to put on after using and the ribbon is a nice touch. The wicks of A Cheerful Giver candles do sometimes have an issue with not burning down equally. This particular candle didn't have that issue. If you keep your wicks trimmed properly there is no soot on the jars either.This was the first time I tried the Aunt Kook's Apple Cider scent. It smells nice, but doesn't seem to throw the scent like some of the other scents made by A Cheerful Giver. Honestly, I can't seem to even recognize the scent by smell. I have an open floor plan & other scents by this brand seem to throw the scent throughout the entire area. However, this one sadly does not. I can't really smell the scent that well at all even with it sitting on my coffee table in front of my couch - while I sit on the couch. This may be a nice scent for a smaller room or someone who has a more sensitive nose. I still love the appearance of the candle, but I probably won't purchase this particular scent again.

These candles are so fragrant and beautiful. I’ve been purchasing them for several years now for myself and as gifts and everyone loves them. Every scent I’ve tried has been lasting and makes the whole house smell wonderful. They tend to have a strong scent while burning, not overpowering, which I love.

Had another candle from this company that I received as a gift for Christmas a year ago. It was fabulous and very fragrant! After a year it was finally gone so I wanted a replacement candle. Decided to try this apple cider scent. In the jar unlit it smells fabulous! I have burned it for approx. 3 hours so far but it does not throw any scent into the room. You literally have to smell inside the jar to smell the wax. I am so disappointed in the lack of smell while burning so I’m returning this candle.

These candles are wonderful, well worth the money! Burn time is as advertised and the scent is amazing. This is my 3rd and I plan to get more.

This candle has two wicks and is huge! It's also highly scented so I think it would really scent the whole house! Great quality.
