EMBOX 16 A and 10 A, 3500 Watts No Hub Required WiFi Smart Plug Voice Control Compatible with Alexa and Google Home Assistant Wireless (2.4GHz)

I purchased this 5 weeks ago. On receipt I observed the leaflet in this packages saying it is 10A where I need 16A and ordered for the same. I contacted Customer Care and they said it supports 16A. As I want to use with 1.5 ton split AC, I crosschecked with my AC Technician.After I started using this I am really happy. I expected wi-fi and timer control only. This device met my expectations and giving power consumption details also as bonus. Only limitation I observed is on power failure and power came back, it is not retaining its previous status. I am using some other devices which give me a choice of always on, off or prev. status.Except this, it is a great product and working fine.

Obviously this is a China made product marketed by EMbox. There is no branding or specifications provided on the product or on its box (pics enclosed). But surely the setup process was a breeze with the SmartLife (tuya's). Works well with my Hitachi 1.5Ton 5star AC. Was easy to link up with Google Home & Alexa. I'll observe for a few days & order more of these plugs if this works well.But again, with these kind of products, long term reliability is a big doubt.

Cost effective, unlike Oakter and others that are unnecessarily expensive and want me to buy a hub just to connect to the device. Works exactly as advertised. WiFi is built into the switch, the app is quick and clean, and it also monitors energy consumption through the plug, so for the first time I know how much power the geyser has used in the last 24 hours. I plan to buy one for each of my 16A devices - AC, radiator, geyser - and that should tell me a lot about my consumption. Works with Alexa and Google Home and IFTTT, so I can mix and match with other smart devices in my home. And it has a manual override if Alexa/the app are not readily available at hand or aren't working for any reason.In short, I don't know any other smart device that has this set of features, and the price point is just icing on the cake.Very impressed with the product.

It's been more than an year I am using. Working perfectly. On and off switch is also placed at right place. Manually we can turn-on instead of using Google voice when you don't have phone handy.Only issue is that off there is a power failure then it will not retain its earlier state.. manually needs to be switched on..

The plug type is too big which does not fit into any socket. Modern new buildings have smaller sockets

Does exactly what is required. The plug is robust and can ne used for high currents. On Alexa skills part, we should be able to know the status of the plug which is not there.

writing review after several moths of use. So far no complain. Much better than D-link (D-Link is useless, no customer support from D-Link). Value for money and buy with confidence.
