I’m so pleased with this mat. The underside grips the floor wonderfully. The top feels like suede. Really improved my stances as it’s not as slippy and I can really push into my hands in down dog for example and achieve better form. Solid to balance on. And the smooth finish just feels lovely having a lie down for the meditation at the end. Not really enough padding for rolling about as you do in Pilates, but I don’t like Pilates so that’s fine. I chose this brand mat after a friend got one. Hers is still looking fab after two years, and this one is just as high quality

ive owned my mat only a fortnight, so admittedly yet to wash it in the machine but so far I'm very happy.The beautiful image has caught my child's eye and she is, as a result, very eager to use it whenever it's in sight. The length is great for my height (I'm 5ft 10). The mat grips perfectly and feels fine to touch. Other reviews said that theirs smelt unpleasant at first; I didn't notice any smell with mine I'm very happy with my mat. The carry strap works a treat and it rolls up really small so doesn't need much space when not in use. This mat has got me enthused about improving my health which in itself is invaluable!

Top quality yoga mat.Zero slip thanks to the grippy base.Top material feels great and the space design is fantastic! I would highly recommend this mat and will definitely buy another a few years down the line when this one needs replacing, but I think that'll be quite a way off..If I had to be critical, the mat could be a little longer. I'm 5'10 so if you're my height or smaller have no worries.. and I guess if you're over 6 foot you're used to the world being built a little too small.

The mat is quite heavy and whilst it doesn't slip on the floor, I find the surface has little grip and I slide whilst trying to do postures especially dog down, I have ordered some grippy socks and gloves to try but am disappointed as I had thought from posted reviews that this mat would have had much more grip.

Just brought this mat and used it for the first time.l found the coloured side slippery and the under side too grippy. Not sure which side to use. As one said, washing it first may make it more grippy, the coloured side l presume. Will report back after its wash.

Perfect for hot yoga - non slip back and a felt like top which helps when doing hot yoga as it absorbs the sweat and keeps its grip.Not sure on how you would machine wash this but I have just hosed it off with some APC and hung to dry and its been fine.

Excellent mat. Good traction without sticking to it (you move when you want to) and nice level of support. Haven't had it long, but it feels solid and unlikely to fray around the edges. Also looks very pretty. I currently leave it out in the corner of the living room as it adds a splash of attractive colour to the space. Haven't noticed any chemical smells either.

Great mat. Love it. However for very sweaty friend it didn't grip enough
