Very pleased with this purchase. This toy is providing many hours of fascinated play for our toddler.This spaceship has enough little details hidden in the molding to make it interesting, but is generic in style enough to allow for lots of creativity and pretend play. Both the top and bottom levels have doors that double as ramps. The ramps have little ladder-steps for the astronauts to 'walk' up.Both the top capsule and the booster section stand well on their own. Assembled, the rocket is balanced and does not tip easily.The upper unit separates easily, but fastens securely. Our toddler figured out the place-and-turn of locking it into place with very little assistance.Easy to wash. Needs a little shaking to help get it dry quickly, but dries completely without hidden pockets of water.Sturdy. This ship has "flown" across the room with some crash landings at speed, as well as being chewed on and beat on the walls. No visible damage at all after several months of play.The astronauts are hollow on the bottom, but very sturdy. Can be used as finger puppets.Things this toy does that it may not be designed for:1. The bear-pilot from the Green Toys helicopters/seacopters, the bear-engineer from the Green Toys train, or the smaller "Little People" figures (dog, cat) will fit inside the lower part of the rocket. Also, the smallest Duplo blocks (2x2) will fit inside both upper and lower sections (for when you need 'rock aliens'). Can also hold six or seven 'animal cracker' cookies.2. The rocket's engines double as whistles when blown through. They are a clear note, about mid-loud for a child's whistle. (It's a rocket and a musical instrument, all in one!) Our toddler discovered this feature by accident, and it is excellent for pretend play. Blow the whistle to warn the astronauts it's time for blast off.3. The top section can be carried in the cargo car of the Green Toys train, for more elaborate pretend play stories.4. When the top section is removed, the indent in the top of the bottom section can hold approximately six ounces of water for about thirty five seconds before the water finishes trickling down through the body of the ship to hit the surface beneath. (Enough to time to rush over a towel and prevent a mess.)All in all, this a great little toy.

Great quality, durable and fun toy. Our toddler loves this toy. Us parents love it as well since it's extremely durable. It's been dropped and tossed multiple times and still held up well. The top red piece comes off the rocket ship for a return launch craft. This adds a bit of fun detail for the little one to explore landing the big rocket ship and launching the little one. The two people figures fit nicely inside and just give a nice added touch. We paired this toy with Roaring Rockets (Amazing Machines) book so we could extend the learning and enjoyment of rocket ships into reading time. We've quite enjoyed the Green Toys in general and this one is another nice add.

My 2 year old had been interested in rockets, so we looked around for a good simple rocket ship for his 3rd birthday. We saw this and decided to give it a try. I'm VERY glad we did. It's nice and sturdy with 2 doors that open and close for the two little astronauts to go inside. The doors close solidly enough that they don't flop open when you don't want them to, but it's easy for him to open and close the doors by himself. The top module can come off with a little twist, but again, it doesn't come off unless you intentionally twist them apart. He has spent hours blasting off, zooming his rocket around, exploring "planet couch" and imagining space flight. He's even twisted the two pieces apart so he can zoom with one and his brother can zoom with the other. Half the time, he wants to be tucked into bed with his rocket ship. I would definitely recommend it.

I LOVE the Green Toys collection. I have purchased 8 toys from them so far and each has been wonderful. They are all a nice size, clean up easily, and so far have been 100% kid proof. They have taken the abuse of 2 toddlers and still look brand new. I love that they are made from recycled plastics and require no batteries!!! It is hard to find toys these days that are well made and built to last. Kids can play with them outside, in sand, dirt, snow, or rain. My kids even use them as bath tub toys. My thing about these toys is that they require children to use their imaginations!!!

We ordered two rockets (one in each color) for my two boys for Christmas. It isn't their favorite toy of all time, but it comes out from time to time and we have lot of fun. It provides a great medium for imagination. We blast off around the house going from "planet to planet" (ie each piece of furniture to each piece of furniture) and have fun having the guys get out and walk around. Endless possibilities. I also like that they can swap the top part between rockets to change the look around. Rock solid. Good purchase.

I bought two of these, one for my 4 yr old son and one for a cousin that's the same age and they loved them. Should have bought one for my nephew too, he threw a fit because he wanted it rather than the gift he got. Oops! I'll probably buy another for him for his birthday as long as no one else has already gotten him one. It's a very simple toy but made very well and my kids end up loving the simple toys the best. Doors open and close very easily and the detachable top capsule is an added bonus.

Great quality, nice and sturdy- Lets put it this way, I didn't believe that you could tell an American made product from a Chinese one very much, until this toy. You can definitely tell it was made in the United States. Plus, I've bought this twice and all the kids I've given it to like it. Their friends, too: Which ranged between 2-7. The parents love that it is Made in the USA and ecologically responsible, which when your giving gifts to kids- lets face it that is who you're trying to make happy. Even better the toy can take a kicking and keep on going. Oh, it can also be recycled so no worries about how do you dispose of it just toss it in with your plastic bottles in the bin. Excellent.

Looks bigger than I thought and looks very sturdy toy, bought for 3 year old birthday, 4 th green toy item I have bought and all in great working order

三人子供がいて、みんな大好きなのでグリーントイズのオモチャばかりプレゼントに選んで集めています。以前はこんなに日本で出回ってなかったのでアメリカに住む兄弟に送ってもらったり、グリーントイズの公式サイトから買ったりしていたのですが気軽に買えるようになり、しかも安くなって有り難いです。グリーントイズのオモチャはかなり丈夫です。黄色いスクールバスには10キロの次男が乗って遊んでますが壊れたりしないです。ロケットは、色が明るくないので私としてはイマイチと思ってましたけど子供はワクワクするようです。ストーリー仕立てで持ってるぬいぐるみと組み合わせて遊んでいます。ロケットは分離したり扉があったりする所が面白いようです。
