I would differently contact the company. So far ours is working good

Q: I cant even remove batteries to replace. How do you get them out w/o damaging the watch? I opened the watch, removed the circuit board. but batteries

They have a video on their website showing how to replace the batteries... basically you take the screwdriver and push them the direction of the arrow.
