After reading this book it brought a sigh of relief that Carol Kranowitz has written such a great book that any family that has a child on the spectrum or has their own quirky things they deal with on a daily basis can relate too! I am looking forward to having my 13 year old son read it who is a typical developing child but doesn't understand his sister, who's 10, and on the spectrum - mild and high-functioning - who also has sensory issues. It's been a huge challenge to find a middle ground where my kids can understand each other and with this book I feel there will be more of an understanding on what his sister really goes through each day. I'm excited to read this book to my daughter as well so she knows she it's ok to have sensory issues, it's ok to be different, and that's what makes her unique. Thank you Carol!!!

Down to earth with lots of resources and suggestions! I would recommend this book to parents and teachers struggling with kids.

Very easy to understand and very easy to follow. I would recommend it for any family dealing with sensory integration.

If you are a novice to sod this is a must have book, I found that googling the term was overwhelming, this book was a quick read into all variations of spd in scenario form. I know where to go from here but also I know what to put into practice when my little spd wakes up to get her ready for the day without a battle on my hands, simply invaluable.

This is a very american book, and seems to be for the perfect worlds of SPD! We certainly don't live in that perfect world. Having said I might give the book another go, but there are others I prefer.

Very easy read but informative book. I will be using this with my clients and carers who have to live with sensory processing difficulties. It gives a good insight with clear language and a fun presentation

The book was new, perfect, there was only one problem.. The package was now really the best one so the book is a little damaged on the outside
