This was fast paced from start to finish, great read!!!!!

i have read all the books in the Some Girls Do It series and have loved all of them until; Number 8 If The Shoe Fits.. The prior books were so enjoyable that I was always on pins and needles waiting for the next one. This book was read and then actually re=read before I wrote a review. All of the books in this series have been more like novellas but this was the first time I felt that the story was very rushed, characters not really developed and wholly unsatisfying. I have even read several of Ms. Sage's paranormal books despite that not being my usual genre and they were very well written. Perhaps the author's fans of this series were making her feel pressured to add another book while she was in the midst of writing for her other series as I checked the publication date option on her Amazon page.. I for one would rather wait longer for a book that can be enjoyed and re-read for pleasure instead of re-read on how to actually word my review. To me there were flashes of what this series was in the past. My income level has dropped and now I will have to think twice before getting the next one as there are so many others on my TBR list .

Her roommate burns their apt down,leaving food in a pan and burner on. Call eister,she moves in and looking for a place to live. Hes rich and discourage and accepts a invitation to a benefit. He meets her ther bidding on her at auction. They dance ,talk and hes impressed at h I w smart she is. They get together and she pulls out doing the guy thing and leaves. They run into each other at the park and talk, like they just saw each other earlier. Then she fins out shes pregnant and hes happy. All I s good.

This story is a bit more "sexual" than the others in this series line, but in a good way, it shows the immediate attraction and connection they have! Her job was an interesting vocation to have and maybe we can see how Emily gets out of the lab in a future story!and 6to 7 other new characters are introduced in the story that desperately need their own story! In all this is a great start to future stories that have all been exciting to read !

May's "Some Girls Do It" series is absolutely a fantastic series. The stories are funny and romantic and filled with great characters. In "If The Shoe Fits" everything is a trial for Helene. Job sucks, apartment and everything in it burned up in a fire but meeting Cade is a wonderful chance for them both to connect, too find love. Linda

I was prepared not to like this story. The beginning was a little slow and felt contrived, if not boring because of the kind of people Helene was being forced to associate with. Things start to pick up when Helene meets Cade in a library and they end up devouring each other. The story takes on a life of it's own after that and I found I was really enjoying myself. Fun surprise ending.

I really enjoyed this book. It is short, so the ending wraps up super quickly. That said, the story to that point is well written and filled with a great set of characters. I recommend this book period. But I think you would like it even more if you read the previous ones in the series first.

May Sage is one of my favourite authors and I always enjoy her work. This story was good but, as usual with this particular series, I was left wanting more. More story, more character development. The time between the last chapter and the Epilogue is where these characters desire develops into a relationship and I wish I’d gotten more of that. But I’d absolutely continue to read this series because what I do get, I enjoy.

Mais ici à peine j'ai eu la sensation d'apprécier les personnages (passer au delà des critiques aigries et un peu vide de sens et de profondeur de la société), et de voir les prémices d'une relation, que le livre est déjà terminé. Trop rapide, manque de crédibilité dans les personnages et l'histoire (Qui est oublieuse d'une pilule du lendemain quand il y a un tel risque - surtout dans la situation décrite!?).Il semblerait que ce soit l'autrice qui perde son intérêt dans ses personnages et ses suites. Il est grand temps d'arrêter les suites de cette série de livres si c'est pour une qualité si pauvre. Aucun intérêt dans ce livre!

Great short story filled with fun and sexy moments.Carter and Cassie make appearances, thus the fun moments. Good story, a nice pick me up after a long week.
