In reading reviews for dyson replacement battery it was apparent that many of the reviews are phony reviews. I try to be more careful in anything that involves lithium batteries. Although this battery is much cheaper than buying directly from dyson, it was more then all the other batteries I looked at on Amazon. The battery arrived on time and was easy to install. Battery arrived two thirds charged. I immediately used it and although it’s hard to remember how dyson was brand new it did seem to work better then I ever remember. The next day I used it continuously on high suction and it lasted for about 10 minutes. I believe dyson states that a new v8 will last 7 minutes. Have about a week and tested battery again. It again lasted almost 10 minutes on high. Very satisfied so far.

I don't like to leave a review until after I've used a product for a few weeks. Anything can happen in a few days. This batter is wonderful. I've used it now over 2 weeks and its going strong. I have 2 rooms with carpet and the rest of my house is tile with some rugs. I vacuum my whole house every day including tile floors because pets leave your floor furry. Put a flash light down and see how much covers a tile floor. Thats how I get all the fur up is putting down a flashlight to see all the hair. I don't even loose one batter light. It's still going strong even after using it on strong for the carpets. Very nice and better than the original Dyson battery I got with the vacuum. Very pleased.

I've had my cordless Dyson for 5 1/2 years. This is my 2nd battery replacement. I purchased a knock-off brand the first time. It only lasted one year, the suction was poor, and I could only get about 12 minutes of vacuuming before it needed to be charged again. I decided to purchase a Dyson battery this time and so far (I've had it for about a month) it is MUCH BETTER! I'm amazed at the suction and it lasts for at least twice as long. Worth the extra $$!!

The power started to drop less than 3 months later. Now after 4 months of use, it can only last 3 minutes after a full charge. Contacted the manufacturer as instructed a month ago, but no response has received.

My Dyson had not worked for over a year. I had even bought another vacuum cleaner. A friend suggested that I buy a new battery for the Dyson. The new battery was a little difficult to get in but once in an the battery charged, the Dyson was working fine once more.

My Dyson v8 battery died suddenly after two and half year use. So I bought this for replacement. This battery came with an installation instruction. Easy to install and fits perfectly. Used it once so far, as powerful, and lasted longer than the original one in max power mode. Hope it is more durable in the long run, given the 4500 MAH it has.

I have a dyson V8 absolute, but there was a problem that the battery discharged quickly. I did a search on the internet to resolve this problem, and found a product with good reviews and reasonable price. I immediately have ordered it, I replaced the battery once I receive it. It was very easy, and I spent about 5 minutes for replacement. I've been using it for a few days, and I'm still satisfied with this product.

So far it's doing great! Battery life greatly increased with this new battery. Bought a refurbished battery from Dyson but that lasted all of 6 months and pretty much died as soon as their 6 month warranty was up. I'll update this review if anything changes
