Enjoy the scent of all your favorite candles, safely, without using a flame, thanks to this large, electric candle warmer. The candle heater warms candles up, so their scent is released into the air with no flame. Additionally, it can be used as a cup heater to keep drinks and soups warm, making it the perfect addition for your home or office. It can be placed on any flat surface, including delicate ones, because the candle warmer has felt covered feet. Use it in your home, office, shop, den, kitchen and much more. This coffee cup warmer and candle warmer plate has a 4.25” diameter and an on/off switch with light indicator. It works best with non-lit candles up to 4” in diameter that are in glass jars or metal containers.

Effective, But With Only One Temperature
This warmer is excellent for candles or other large-volume items, such as soups. I love that it has a clear indicator of when it's on, and it's been going strong with fairly regular use in my house for at least a year and a half now. That being said, I find that it makes regular beverages *too* hot, and there is no way to adjust the temperature. Even just having a low heat option would solve this issue. But, it's good for the price and works well for the overall purpose it serves.

I love using this instead of burning candle
They are easy to use. I don't have to worry about a lit candle turning over.I can use the candle several times. The only negative thing is after a few timesit burns away the scent. That's the candlenot the warmer.

Good enough to buy twice.
This is a nifty little device, with several pro's and cons.PROS: Candles do not require a flame in order to be utilized, so there is little risk of a direct flame related fire. Incidentally, it also means you won't be dealing with smoke, which works for me because I have mild asthma and candle smoke sets it off. Depending on the size of the candle, it can take anywhere between 30-90 minutes for the candle to completely melt, but you will smell the fragrance not long after the candle starts to melt, so it doesn't really matter if it ever melts completely. Also, because the candle warmer liquifies the wax, you will continue to smell the fragrance long after the candle warmer is turned off since it takes a little longer for the wax to resolidify-this is nice because you can turn the warmer off before going to the store, and come back to a house that is still benefiting from constant fragrance.I've had this long enough now, I can tell you with some certainly that it does make your scented candles last longer. A few of mine have "shrunk" slightly, and after about 3 years of intermittent use the larger candles have lost their scent, but they are definitely lasting longer than they would have if I had simply lit them. Obviously smaller candles don't last as long as their larger counterparts, but they do last longer than they would with a flame.CONS: Even though you never need to light the candle, the wax is completely liquified and therefore extremely hot. If you have young children at home, you will have to be careful where this is placed because they can still burn themselves if they bump/dump the liquified wax. Also, this needs to be placed near a plug end, which really limits placement, and can be problematic if you need to keep the product out of reach of children, and with such a short cord you are almost forced to use an extension cord of some kind.Keep in mind that if you ever want to light the wick, you will have to "fish" for it midway through the re-solidifcation process. The reason being, once the wax is liquified, most of the wicks sink partway through, and after the wax becomes solid again they become buried, only to be retrieved through reheating.Overall, we are satisfied with this product. I gave it four stars because the electrical cord should be longer and it is potentially dangerous to have around small children. Otherwise, I love it.

Good!
Works well but be careful on the surface you use it on, it heats up quickly and the bottom leaves the surface very warm

Safer than candles, revives dead ones
We all have a candle that was limited edition somewhere and can't find anymore, and then it gets burned down to the bottom. The wicks are dead and you can't bear to throw it out. In my house we used to just put them over the stove on low heat for a few minutes, but that is wildly unsafe and could cause the glass to crack-I'm surprised it never did. This is much safer and causes the same effect.I purchased this to get some more longevity out of my candles but found that it has some more uses as well. It only has one setting (on and off) so there's no way to mess up the heat and scorch your candles. Even if you left it on there for hours and hours, the wax doesn't really melt away like it does when burning, it becomes the never ending candle as the wax just re hardens when the unit is turned off. I also began using this to warm up a jar of solidified coconut oil which I use for a multitude of beauty things, since the microwave heats it so unevenly. The only thing I miss from using this is the flicker of a flame, but I also am comforted by the fact that if I forget to turn it off, I have much less fire risk involved. It's similar to the concept of the Scentsy warmers but allows you to use candles you already have instead of buying new wax (and scraping out the dish when you want to change a scent). The worst thing to worry about would be spilled wax or the unit getting wet. I highly recommend this.

Works for candles or mugs
I've wanted one of these for a long time and am glad to have finally bought one. It took about three hours for the candle in the photo to melt completely. The scent started wafting at about 15 minutes in. I noticed that the scent became stronger as the candle melted. The bottom of the plate has rubber tipped feet that help hold the candle warmer in place. The plate is slightly below the rim of the unit. This helps to keep the candle or mug a little more secure. I like that the white plastic base around the unit stays cool. It's only the black plate that gets hot.I tried the plate with candles( and the mug that you see pictured) and was pleased with both results. I made some hot tea and compared the results with the warmer and with leaving it on the counter. At 30 minutes, the tea on the warmer was substantially hotter than the tea on the counter. The difference was more pronounced at 45 minutes. The unit doesn't keep tea at 140 degrees, but it does keep it from cooling off as fast as it usually would. I'm happy with that, but die hard aficionados may want something more. The one feature I wish it had is an auto-off. The unit stays on until you turn it off or unplug it. There are other brands that have an auto-off, but they are more expensive. I'm a stickler for unplugging appliances when they're not in use, so I'm enjoying the warmer as it is.

A warning .
Just a warning, this is not for UK sockets, we used an adaptor, plugged it in, walked out of the room for less than a minute, came back and it had completely melted and had burnt through to the brand new work top, which had only just been put in .....this was terrible enough but imagine if we had simply left it on, it would have burnt our house down!!,,..as I say, just a warning

hi, ive just received my electric candle warmer ,but was amazed to see that i cant plug it in as i need some sort of plug adapter to revert it to uk sockets, however this wasn.t explained in the writing about the product, ive now got to try and get an adapter that will first of all fit and then to comply with 120 volts when a lot of the products we have are 240 volts .
