So Enormously Let Down.
It breaks my heart leaving this review. Let me first start by saying when I first bought my first Cargo Palettes, this and Northern Lights, I had never been so satisfied with a purchase. When I first got them, they were super pigmented, super smooth and crazy blendable. Today, after sparsely reaching for them the past few months and not using them at all for a month or so, I went back in and noticed something I hadn't expected. They've somehow deteriorated in quality. Both palettes. I bought both of them about 7 months ago. Shanghai Nights states a 12 month expiration date on the back, and the Northern Lights states a 24! There is no, and I mean no reason why these should not be performing as before. They've lost their pigmentation and have become extremely powdering and difficult to blend. Comparable to a wet n'wild eyeshadow that every teen used in 6th grade. I am very careful with make-up products. I am kind of a germaphobe, so I don't even use lipsticks without grabbing product with a freshly clean lip brush every time. Every time I used these once beautiful eye shadows, I would use a fresh clean dry shadow brush to pick up product, never touching with my hands. I am so let down that these shadows didn't last. If you pay 37 for a palette, I expect it to last. I raved about this for so long to everybody, and even convinced two different people to buy their own. Now i regret it, and have a feeling a lot of online reviewers and Youtubers who left positive feedback on them probably hadn't owned them for long themselves.
