The snaps for the bra over-lap and provide a front opening. However, this front opening is not suitable for use for nursing. I was excited when I purchased this because so few nursing bras open in the center front instead of at the straps. I find the flap of the bra to interfere with feeding, thus prefer the front openings. The front opening in this bra completely opens the whole bra instead of just one side. It's like a regular bra with a front closure but with as much adjust-ability as a back closure. It would be better if they had the normal back closure plus an adjustable front opening that only opened one cup. That said, it is comfortable and attractive, just not as adjustable as it sounded from description.

I noticed the tag says the XL should fit at least a 36D, which I am currently at 9 months pregnant. It fits pretty well, but I can see how it'd be tricky if you are over a 36D. It takes some time to figure out how to snap it together, but once I got it figured out it was pretty comfy. The color (lilac) is gorgeous and the fabric is so soft- but doesn't give much support, so it's awesome for staying home and nursing in. Perfect for water births, as you can easily unsnap it from the front without having to pull a wet sports bra over your head or having to tangle with one that has closures in the back.

Works best if you snap it up before you put it on, otherwise they keep unsnapping and it takes forever to put on. The nursing snaps are great and for a nursing bra, it is very comfortable otherwise. Thus far, it has not unsnapped in some random place and caught me offguard.In hindsight, it may be best to order in a size larger than normal just to give yourself some extra room and not have to worry about the snaps being so taught.

I've been on the search for a nursing bra that is supportive, comfortable and gives me some separation because I find most nursing bras create uni-boob. Well, this bra is yet another fail. I don't mind thin bras because I can use inserts to prevent anything from showing but this is kind of ridiculously thin. Like t shirt / spandex thin. Definitely not supportive or shaping in any way, the bottom of the bra slipped up over my boobs. It is very difficult and time consuming to button. I felt it was a little on the small side and it did create a tiny bit of separation but failed in the other areas so I'm returning it. Maybe if you are small chested and haven't nursed 4 babies you would be able to use this.

I started loving this bra, but ended up not using it after a few weeks. It's complicated to put on. Too many buttons. I kept messing up the buttons. Besides that, it's very comfortable, soft, and easy to feed with it on.

The fit is awkward. The part where the flap part meets the structure is off. It feels fine but the silk edge is wavy so it looks bumpy under clothes. Also the top part doesn't cover the bottom part completely so there is a gap between the two. If you want to get a bra this color and texture then better go with la leches simple nursing sleeping bra which is pretty awesome.

I would have loved it if it had at least some lining, it was So thin... and I just want my nipples to be somewhat concealed

Because of the snap location, I feel they really dig into your skin while wearing. Also, I'm a high D and got the XL and I still feel it runs small - my boobs pop out of the top. Also, it may get easier with time, but the clasp to bring the bra down when nursing, is VERY hard to undo.
