I purchased these shoes for my five year old daughter - she's a UK size 11, and the shoes were a perfect fit.Compared with branded wheeled shoes, these are substantially cheaper, which is a bonus when children's feet grow as fast as they do. Compared with cheaper high street versions, they have great additional features, the main one being a retractable wheel - this is pretty much essential if your child is wearing them for any length of time.The build quality of the shoe itself seems good enough. I won't talk about the design too much - you know what you're getting with the picture. Suffice to say, they're a five year old girls dream; to me, they look like something Jedward designed on a bad acid trip.Two things let these shoes down, and both are pretty big, meaning the three star rating. Firstly, the lights. They are great, but there are going to be tears when the battery runs out (which other reviewers have said happens in as little as a month), as there are no instructions on how to change the batteries. My inspection of the shoes has led me to believe that they are not actually user replaceable.Secondly, the cover for the retractable wheel - when the wheel retracts, there is a strip of plastic which completes the base of the shoe. This presumably stops muck and stones from wedging the wheel in place. On the shoes I received, only one of the covers worked correctly. The second one just flaps around, and does not stay in place.

a little bit cheap looking but my daughter loves them so I'm happy ! The single wheel takes a bit of getting used to (the 2 wheel shoes are easier), but after a week of up and down in the hallway my daughter had mastered it. Good value and the kids love the lights...

Roller skate is one singular skate on heel of shoe so cannot use skate function as there is no balance. Most skate shoes have two on one foot so easier to balance and skate. My daughter just uses lights without skates. It's a shame really as they are a nice design

Great kids trainers work lovely fit a little big but she'll have to grow into them. Kids love them that's the main thing.

Lights are amazing and the quality is good but the size is slightly smaller and need to go for one size bigger.

I bought those for my daughter, she loves them. It is fit for purpose. She was changing the light so much that one of led light run out. I was able to charge by using the usb cable provided. She will be using them for the coming festive. Good design!!!!!

Bought them for the wife for Christmas and she loves them. Comfortable and great for wearing out at night, and she's had lots of compliments.It says that theyre currently unavailable, if they come back on sale we'll definitely get another pair!
