Noisy Animal Peekaboo! (Noisy Peekaboo!)

My 14 month old daughter loves all the Noisy Animal books. Unfortunately the one I received doesn't work. I pulled out the battery blocker tab and tried out the book. Nothing. No sounds at all. I read a few more reviews that said they had to change the battery upon arrival. I will try doing that, but it is frustrating that the book came without a working battery. Little batteries like the one that run this book are expensive and these books aren't cheap. I just hope that it's a battery problem and not an electrical one. I know I could return it, but that takes time and money to send it back. Even though the sounds don't work, the book is bright and colorful and has flaps that the animals "hide" behind. My daughter still likes the book, but I'm sure not as much as she would have if the sounds had worked.

Had a flap missing.

I ordered one of these books and the sound didn't work at all, so ordered a replacement. The sounds work 50% of the time, which causes a lot of confusion and frustration for my baby, my husband, and me! Wouldn't recommend this book.

I’m giving it two stars because when it DOES work, my baby loves it. Unfortunately the sound only works about 25% of the time. Initially I started a defective return for this item, but my husband got it to work so I cancelled the return. We didn’t realize that it would only randomly work. So frustrating. Definitely not worth $15.

One of the pages was malfunctioning and did not produce sound. When I tried to buy a replacement the book was listed at double the price.

This is made for 1-3 year olds. My one year old completely ripped out one flap within a week. It's now been a month or so and every flap has been ripped. It's just not durable even compared to other lift the flap books.He does really like it though so it's not a complete loss.

I actually bought this book about 3 years ago at the book store. I recently moved into an older room and realized that the book has been beaten up a bit. So I decided to order a new one plus 2 more - the farm one and the construction one - for my new class! It arrived within a day and a half! Go Prime! But overall fantastic books. My class loves to hear the noises and expects the sounds - otherwise they get upset if the book doesn't make noise!

Toddler loves it, but has already ripped a page out. I had to tape it back on. Also, if you are in dim light the sounds will not play. I have found that the sensor has to been exposed to bright light to play.

I bought this book for my great grandsons 2nd birthday. I have one at home I had bought from a charity shop, years old but still working well.I was very disappointed with this purchase. Not anywhere near the quality of the old one ( same company, strangely same price) .the sounds in it are very weak, you can barely hear them, already one of the flaps have torn off!! Sorry to be so negative.

When this book arrived I took out the tag to make sure the noises were working ,,,,, and they weren't. I tried it several times but there were no noises. After returning from shopping, about two hours later, I tried the book again and it did work. It is for a present for my granddaughter who has down syndrome and loves lift the flap and noisy books. A couple of days later the book stopped working again I had requested a refund and to return the book but I cancelled. I just hope that this intermittent fault does not keep happening.

My kids loved this line of books when they were small, and still do whenever they rediscover them on our book case. So I didn't hesitate to buy this for a friend's one year old as a birthday gift. It was very well received. Although it has had to have tabs sellotaped back on a few times already, just as I had to do with ours many times.

My daughty loves these books so got 3 for her birthday none work battery changed on / of switches checked wiped over all the sensors but nothing. Its disappointing that these products listed are clearly all faulty and ur lucky if u get one that works

My granddaughters love this book Great sounds This is my second one they are still small & heavy handed!! Will buy an other one when this one wares out too
