South Maid Crochet Cotton Thread Size 10, White

My favorite thread to work with

I have done a lot of thread crochet projects. I ordered a table runner pattern and it came with a spool of South Maid size 10 crochet thread. I found this thread to be stiff and also very easy to split when you are working with it. I ordered 1 spool of this thread to finish my table runner. When I have completed this project the rest of the left over thread will be put in the garbage. The feel and look of the thread is just not good quality. It is good to try different brands sometimes you find something that exceeds your expectations. South Maid just does not flow as nice as other thread I have used.

My Mom likes to make stuff and this thread seems to rate number one with her.

I love this cotton thread is good for little girls dresses.

The color name doesn't match the pictures. Won't order because not sure what I will get. The grape color shows a dark green, chestnut shows light blue, the white reads it's white & sapphire I don't see blue. May want to redo your pictures. Just a suggestion.

The thread is just fine and is what I am using for a tablecloth. But Iwas disappointed to find I had paid far more for thread from Amazon than I could get it for at home through Walmart. The balls appeared larger on the screen but were in fact the same as I had paid less than four dollars.. each for in Walmart. I realize this thread was ordered through the States but wonder how come Walmart can sell it for less..
