Black Creek Men's Camo Crushable Wool Earflap Hat - Bc2034

I was excited to order and get this hat as it was what I had been looking for in a hunting hat. I wanted something to block the sun from all angles, she'd the rain outside my collar, soft and warm. When I got the hat something didn't look right. The point of the crown is an inch or better to the left of center so it obviously noticed when it's on top your noggin. The brim also looked as if it was formed backwards. The front of the brim is wide and flat and the upward curl in the brims sides are clearly in the back of the hat with the narrow part of the brim which is normally to the front with the sides flared up are at the back. Then I tried the ear flaps. They are off center too. The hat has to be put on at an angle to get the flaps to cover both ears.I started by calling Black Creek and they said it was Sheplers fault for selling the hat and I would have to take it up with them. I would have thought that the maker would take some responsibility. At my job if I do a crappy job I can't say it's not my fault. I would have to make it right.Next I called Sheplers and spoke to their CS rep and was told that I needed to take it up with Amazon if I wanted an exchange. Maybe I'm being to picky to think that if all parties got their money and an exchange is in the end coming from Black Creek, who cares. You made the hat and put it out there. Sheplers sold the hat. One of the two could replace it and not blame it on an automated internet sales site that had nothing to do with the manufacturing or quality control of the item.I like the hat and would like to think mine is a fluke, but can't say since I got tired of the run around. Sure. It's simple enough to box it back up and get a return label from amazon, but that's not my point. I am very disappointed in the CS of both companies.

I love this hat. It fits great and I like the vivid colors. It is highly water repellent and warm. It has quickly become my favorite hat. Fold down ear flaps are a nice bonus. I highly recommend this quality hat to anyone.
