Eh... They're so-so
I got these slats yesterday and installed 40 feet of them in less than an hour. Very easy to install. We ordered 4 boxes of the 4ft slats in dark brown. We received 6 ft slats that I had to cut down so that created extra work on my end. My other problem with them is the amount of privacy that they give. We bought these to keep the dogs from barking at people/traffic in front of our house. These are the only slats that I could find that "claimed" to offer more than a 75% coverage rate. It is advertised to offer 98% coverage. After installing today, we are not getting the coverage that we were expecting. I would say that we are at about 75% coverage right now. Not what I was expecting, or paid extra for. I probably would not buy these again in the future. I will upload pictures at a later time.

No way a package runs ten feet
Caution, the ad says that it may cover 'up to' ten feet so they covered themselves on this one. It's a big scam in my book because once you realize you do not have near enough to finish your fence run you are pretty much stuck with having to buy the rest. What should have been a 480 dollar job turned out to be an 880 dollar job. I NEVER would have bought these WAY overpriced pieces of plastic had I known. Even at the onset they were way over priced for what they are. I think they should not be allowed to market these like they do. It is my belief that MANY of the transactions buying these result in an additional very expensive purchase to buy the rest, the vendor I believe probably is quite aware of this.

Look good, cut wings at bottom for easier install
I put these on a fence in an alley to block the views of a neighboring building’s garbage cans. I have to say I think they look pretty good (better than expected, in fact). The fence is older and has some distorted links, which made installation a little tougher in places. Also, I found that cutting the wings at the bottom made installation MUCH easier (the wings on the first few I installed kept getting caught and stated to tear). Making the bottom “spear shaped” (See pics) helped a lot.I did not use the bottom track. They say it’s unnecessary on this type of fence and I agree.

very private
My neighbor installed a chain link fence with built-in while plastic slats after several of his trees were blown down against the fence in a big wind storm.I have a 10' chain link gate that connects to his fence. I really like the privacy his fence provided so I bought these slats to put in my gate. They were easy to install for the most part (my gate has been in place for about 30 years and the chain link is a little bent in places). Someone mentioned to cut off about a 1/4"-3/8" chamfer from the bottom corners to help in slide in place. It does help. My gate is 6' high and took about 2 hours to install, there are a lot of slats in 10' and a bit of a learning curve. On a newer fence/gate, installation should be a lot quickerI like them so well I bought more to install on the gate on the other side of my home.Privacy was much better than the product description said I could expect -- almost 100%, I have to stick my face up to the gate to see in. Cannot see into my back yard from a foot away. They look good too.

privacy
These slats are very good for our style of chain link fence, we had the 1 inch slats in the fence when we purchased the home, I could never get them to stay in place and the privacy was minimal. These are much better and with the bottom locking system they will stay in place.I ordered two bundles for one section of the fence and when I returned to purchase three more bundles they were out of stock, customer service kept me posted and when they were back in inventory I received and email, good service. Price increased too Boo!The bad- The second order was i inch shorter than the first, should be exactly the same for all bundles, may not have caused a problem except I had some slats in my large gate from the first order so in order to make it right I had to remove them and start over. A pain for sure but overall they look great and did give us the privacy we were looking for.Be aware, if your fence has the wide type chain link these will not give you much privacy.

Work as Expected
These work as expected. When you look straight at them, you can't see through them. If you look at an angle you can kind of see out them. Our main purpose for using these was to try and help prevent our dogs from barking at everyone passing on the street. We have a gate on the front side of the fence where we were installing these. So, even though they prevented the dogs from seeing out the majority of the fence, it didn't stop them from seeing out around the gate. Which means...the dogs still barked and these weren't a big enough help.We also live in a windy area and when all the slats on the fence were filled with these strips, it made the gate very difficult to open/close when the wind was high. I don't see a way around this due to how they need to be installed in order to work properly.Ultimately, we decided not to use these because they aren't the right product for us, but that doesn't mean they aren't a good product. In fact, they were easy to install and somewhat easy to uninstall and they worked as advertised. So, that's why I'm giving them a good rating. It's not their fault they didn't solve our issues.

Great way to keep dogs a little quieter
We have ordered so far the 4 ft tubes in green. They seem to help, the real test will be later this week when the kids go back to school and we can see if that keeps them from seeing the kids and barking. One piece of information we have as we have an old chain link fence and a newer chain link gate. The old chain link fence has smaller openings, so the tubes fit 'tighter' and hide more of whats on the other side. My newer gate at the front of the house, you can see more through the tubes as the spaces are a little larger.
