Aker Leather 268 FlatSider XR17 Paddle Holster

Not to happy with product. Had to sand and oil inside of holster to make it usable. Ordered the black and not very well done. Black color is shiny and has already worn off to some degree. What is most disturbing is the AKER safety information sheet that comes with the holster. The last paragraph states and I quote " All AKER products are sold "AS IS' and "WITH ALL FAULTS". The entire risk as to the quality and performance is with the buyer. Should any AKER product prove defective following its purchase, the buyer, not the manufacturer, distributor, or retailer, assumes the entire risk of all necessary servicing or repair. The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties, expressed or implied are excluded from the transaction and shall not apply to the product sold. The determination of the fitness or suitability of any product for a specific use is the responsibility of the buyer." Would not buy this product again but would pay more for a better product.

This works fairly well for my M&P Shield 9mm. The thumb break is just a hair off making it difficult to snap. I'm hoping it stretches and conforms some as I use it so it will be easier. I only bought this particular holster because it is one of the few paddle holsters I've seen for the Shield. I feel that I should advise others that the paper included with the holster states: "All AKER products are sold "AS IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS". I'm not sure any company with this policy should be patronized if there is an acceptable alternative.

High quality holster that fits my G23 perfectly. Snap retention seems to be of good quality. I love the brown leather look. The holster attaches to a curved plastic molding that slides inside your belt and pant waistline (doesn't require you to thread your belt through anything) which makes putting it on and taking it off really easy. My go to holster in general especially since it's so easy to throw on in a hurry when running out of the house. I will say that it sticks out from my hip a little so I can't wear it concealed under a non-baggy t-shirt but then again, the G23 isn't an easy gun to conceal.

This is my second flatsider paddle. My first was for my 239, this one for my 229. Great holster! Concealable under a pullover or jacket. This is not a deep-cover holster, but I love it because you can put it on literally as you are heading out the door. Make sure you have a sturdy belt. I have a 1.5" 5.11 ccw belt and it works well. I will probably upgrade to a 1.75" though.

This was my first foray with a paddle holster having always used a traditional belt. A change in work locations necessitated this. This holster is excellent. It fits well and is comfortable to wear. It also holds the holster securely so it doesn’t move when drawing the weapon. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a paddle holster.

Works very well. Snug fit on my pistol, and as a bonus, it also will fit with my vortex venom installed. My only real want I'd like to see would be to be able to adjust the cant. It's fixed at 10-15 degrees, and cannot be adjusted.

Shipping was fast and holster was as decribed. It was a supper tight fit for my p226 so I lathered it down with Mink Oil and left the gun in the holster overnight and the next day it was a perfect fit.
