Awesome book! Explains worry perfectly for kids
My daughter has had me read this to her almost 6 nights in a row now! It does such a good job of explaining “worry/anxiety” to little kids. It is so important to have books like this right now. I highly recommend it. The pictures are great too at telling the story.

How to Deal with a Worry
I’m always on the lookout for new books that help kids with social emotional learning. I love that this book shows that everyone can have a Worry from time to time, but talking about it with someone you trust can help ensure the Worries don’t hang around for long!

Sharing feelings
I like the message that is written...if you're having any strange, sometimes unexplainable feelings....talking to someone about it will help you feel better...and you are not alone.

Perfect for Preschoolers
I read each week to a class of 3-4 year olds. This book proved to be a perfect non-scary way for children to think about what worries really are and how talking about what they are concerned about can help that worry to shrink, but holding it in causes it to grow. This led to an excellent class discussion.

Absolutely amazing for little ones
This book is unbelievable. I loved not only the cultural representation, but the story so easily conveyed such a tricky topic for little ones - anxiety and worries. My 4 year old son has been struggling over the last few months with some anxiety. Does not want to participate in anything knew or have “a lot of people watching him do something”. This book has helped me talk to him about worries and anxiety and that they are normal feelings. This book does a fabulous job of helping little ones work through fears and anxiety and help them to know they aren’t alone. Don’t hesitate on this book - buy now!

Love this book
My 3 and 5 year olds love this book. The moral of the story seemed to easily translate to them. They have actually referenced talking about their worries since reading the book. Cute drawings too!
