I bought this clay handi on a trial basis but after I used it I am satisfied with it. It's perfect for fermenting curd and to serve it in the handi itself.

Food is smelling bad after cooking in it
Bought this handi with curd-making handi, both are smelling bad, when food is made in this handi, the food is smelling so bad that we couldn't eat it. Have cleaned with lemon, soaked in clean water and rice water, but the smells doesnt go plus while cooking the pots outer border releases some smelly oil and the pot has developed small cracks. Again we waited for the mud to settle like the curd handi but the smell doesn't go, now even Amazon is not taking it back along with the curd handi.
