Love the styling. It is easy to assemble, though better with two people. Screws fit perfectly. The part I was not pleased with is that the seat portion just sits on top of 4 brackets. It is not secured to the bench. Result? It warped within a week. We sat mulch on top to try to level it. Great still for the price but not if it is trashed within a year. Also not really made for heavy use.

I would have liked a sturdier bench. It looks great and it's more for looks than use at my house but the back flexes some when you lean back. A garden bench with metal frame and wood planks from Home Depot would be heavier duty but...it does not look as nice (you know...the wife). The first one arived slightly damaged and, to the credit of the company, they replaced it immediately. The paint job is not very good either so I repainted using Rustoleum satin black with a satin clear coat. I'd give it a "2" if you're going to put it through a lot of use but it does look nice.

Don’t buy this product. I have only had it a little over a week and the wood split and is peeling up. It is a Beautiful piece and was easily put together but I expected it to last a lot I her than a week!!!Update 10/7- the seller has been very responsive and have stated they will replace the damaged part. One thing they stated is that it is warranted for a year which makes me much more comfortable. Haven’t received the new part yet but hopeful!

Have barely used this bench outside (April and May) and the weather have not been extreme. Nonetheless, the coating is already showing signs of peeling, cracking and general disrepair. Not a bench of good quality.

Beautiful bench, but definitely follow others advice and put on a top coat of paint and sealer. The extra $12 in spray paint will make it last so much longer. Without it, the back joints start to separate. As soon as I sprayed it, they stopped.

I was very impressed, once I put it together. It was simply to build, very formal/elegant, and sturdy! It's for outdoors, but I loved so much, it's in my living room!

Love this attractive bench. So easy to put together even an old lady can do it.

This was terrible!I assembled it, carefully sat down on it, and crunch, it immediately broke and is worthless.The customer care phone number they sent is bogus.
