Toddler nighttime diaper leaks -- SOLVED.
I bought these out of desperation when my toddler woke up every morning in wet pajamas and sometimes wet sheets. It took me a LONG time (and a lot of laundry) to realize that this type of 'diaper insert' product existed. At first, I tried every name brand and store brand of nighttime diapers and big kid nighttime pants that I could find.. what a joke. Once you're at size 6 nighttime diapers, you're stuck. So after some trial and error (Huggies and Pampers nighttime with these inserts -- still with leaks! UGH!), I tried something NEW:Tranquility TopLiner 'Regular' size inserts (purchased on Amazon) inside Huggies Snug and Dry Plus+ diapers in size 6 (purchased from Costco)This has been the magic ticket, AT LAST. I realized that a nighttime diaper is very thick by design, so when you put this insert inside, the diaper puffs up too much and you get leaks anyway. But a daytime diaper is thinner, and the liner holds A TON, so you don't need the diaper itself to be the most absorbent version available. Plus, Huggies has thicker tabs and a wider front panel, so when the diaper does puff up, the tabs don't cause my son discomfort. (He had started complaining about his diaper bothering him in the morning, while pulling at the tabs on his Pampers.)Last but not least, if you switch to a daytime diaper for bedtime, plus one of these inserts, your price per diaper drops back down to the standard nighttime diaper price. With the configuration I use, the price is about $0.57/night (using non-sale prices), where the nighttime diapers I was using before were about $0.55/night. I'd GLADLY pay $0.02 more per night to avoid all the extra laundry and GRIEF of seeing my poor little guy uncomfortable every single morning.I really hope this review helps someone, because I know that it is EXTREMELY frustrating to be a parent who needs a larger size diaper for nighttime, and yet diaper manufacturers have decided that size 6 is the top of the line. Ridiculous. I've written to both Huggies and Pampers about how they need to manufacture at least a size 7 nighttime diaper. Meanwhile, I'm finally happy with the setup we have again. Phew!

Won't Buy Again 08/2022
Very thin, more like a wider flow-thru panty liner, certainly not super absorbent, not suitable as an overnight booster. Adhesive strip barely sticks. Won't buy again.

Super added protection & great to add for overnight protection
These pads are terrific! They are long & unlike regular pads, these don't have plastic on the bottom. This way the urine can go into this pad & if there is enough urine it will continue to pass into the disposable underwear/adult diaper, whatever you use. If my husband just has a small leak as he makes his way to the bathroom, this type of pad can just be removed and thrown out. He can then just pull the paper off the back of a new pad to expose the sticky part & stick it on the disposable underwear. It saves so many pull-ups/briefs/disposable diaper. Don't use this in place of a pad on regular underwear, the pad is made for the urine to pass through. The only thing we didn't like was the pinkish color of the pad, most pads have a blue color. Pink can make it look like there is bleeding & can be scary. Even once you've adjusted to that color, I worry that it could possibly hide some light amount of blood in the urine. I also would have preferred if the pad was a bit wider. Too often my husband's pull-up will get wet on either side of the pad & the pad didn't catch it. Other than that, they are very helpful in protecting the disposable underwear & saving us money.

A Bit of Extra Boost
Good for a little boost when you need it. Don't expect the world out of these, the capacity is claimed around 11oz. and fairly accurate. I have found you can easily stack them and the adhesive strip keeps them in place. Not bulky. Pricing in line for the absorbency rating. You get what you pay for.As far as the negative reviews claiming not enough absorbency... If you can accept these are thin boosters, 11oz MAX capacity, costs about a quarter each... Expect it to be what it is, and not what it isn't. It's not an overpriced booster, claiming 100oz capacity here. Works great for me, adding the extra boost!!!UPDATE 5/11/15: I see the description now claims 16oz capacity. I'm not sure whether or not this is accurate but I will say after several months of use, these really do swell up quite nicely and definitely give a diaper a boost. It swells into what becomes a squishy gel but it stays together. I use these daily now in a Dry 24/7 Medium brief and if needed can put two down the center side by side without too much bulk. This configuration prevent extra changes where it may be inconvenient and depending on fluid intake, it can last me much longer than with just the single brief alone. I highly recommend these.

good absorbency
Adhesive strip could possibly be a little stronger.

Adhesive lacking, but otherwise great
Does a great job, when it adhere to the adult underwear. Large protective strip, small strip of adhesive.Despite the adhesive problem, I continue to purchase this because it makes a big difference in keeping my spouse dry.
