OVERALL: Sophisticated/classic print. Smooth material and edges. Fits series 5 40 mm watch. Similar in size and texture. Took one star off for very very small slightly rough patches on print side of watch and for connection not fitting quite as snugly as genuine Apple band. Would absolutely buy again for myself or as a gift. Detailed review below.PRINT: Obviously this band isn’t make of genuine leopard or even hair calf, but the print is very nice. The light area could be a little more brown, but it does look very nice. The print even has hairlike strikes especially inside the rosettes so at first glance it does look similar to how a hair calf band might look.LENGTH: The short arm of the band seems to be exactly the same length as my genuine Apple band. The long arm, though, is just a bit longer, but only by 2-3 mm or so. On this band there are 8 holes, and there are 7 on the original band. And the holes seem to be spaced just a bit closer together on this one, which actually provides me with a more comfortable fit.MATERIAL: The material is very similar to my original watch band, but not quite as silky feeling. Every so often on the print side of the band you can feel rough areas. However it’s very very minute and I’m wondering if this will go away with time. I suspect this is due to the band not being completely free of dust or lint during printing. You really can’t feel it if you’re not examining it closely. The metal prong looks and functions exactly like the prong on the genuine band. I do have pretty sensitive skin so I’m wondering if I will develop any skin irritation from a possibly different metal alloy. If so, I’ll make an update. Additionally, I don’t notice any sharp or jagged edges anywhere on the band.CONNECTION: The female/male connection went together and came apart perfectly. I didn’t have to force anything. The connection does not seem to fit quite as flush against the watch itself. I do see a very small gap and did notice that water was left in the connection area of the watch after washing my hands. I’ll check this over time to see if this causes any problem.DESIGN: I wanted a slim band because I wash my hands upwards of 30 or more times throughout my work day. Water that remains between your skin and the band (which is impossible to completely dry unless you remove your watch each time you wash) will cause skin irritation. I wanted the more slim band in the hopes of decreasing my chance of irritation. I do like that this band has the teardrop cutouts near the connection which I think will aid in air circulation as well. Again, I’m wondering if the print will hold up well to my frequent hand washing and using alcohol-based hand sanitizer. I’ll pay attention over the next several weeks and make an update if there is a change.

These are so great. So many different designs. The colors are bright. They fit perfect. Everything is perfect about these. Highly recommend. I love to wear different band every day. So many different options.

I’m torn on this band. I absolutely love the look and the slender fit of the band and the fact that’s it breathable. However I also got a rash where the silver clasp rubs on my skin. But I was outside working on gardening so it’s possible I got some irritant/ allergen under the band. I’m letting the rash heal up and I’m going to try it again and will update my review afterwards. But considering other reviewers mentioned a rash, the manufacturer should probably consider changing the metal they use in the clasp.
