Seems to work for us. One is hanging off a sheperds hook and the other is attached to a low branch. Florida yellow flies are no joke. It didn't seem to catch anything at first. Picked up the hook to move it and got attacked by a lot of yellow flies hitting the ball. You really have to find the best spot. It's covered with them now. Need to go back and put a new layer of sticky on it. Definitely not looking forward to that part.

This expensive bull____ was the most INEFFECTIVE mess I ever brought! Such a waste of money! I put it out and attracted more flies but do you think any landed on the ball.... no! It's like the flies were to smart to fall for it. Don't waste your time or money just ordered the fly magnet in hopes that it cleans up the mess the bug ball created with the flies I been had and the ones this epic fail attracted.

Pump it up, spray on the 'sticky spray', and hang them in a place that will get a bit of sun (to warm up the ball, which is what attracts the little stinkers), and breeze (to make the ball sway a bit -- combination of 'heat' and 'movement' are the main triggers). I put up 3 of these at various places on my 3 acres, and honestly, haven't had a deer or horse fly problem since. After 8 weeks, both balls are completely covered with the bugs (so, I don't have flies to deal with because the balls work, not because I had no flies to begin with).If you can deal with the 'visual' (I refer to the them as 'death stars'), these are absolutely the best value for dollar I've found for biting fly control.

Overall this worked great, but the adhesive washes away after a couple weeks. You have to use most of one can cover both balls. Barely any left to re-coat. It does catch the flies, but definitely does not last.

I live in the Mississippi Delta and we’re eaten up by mosquitoes!! I have another product, Spartan Mosquito Eradicator that I use and found these balls to add to the attack!! They really attract the insects of all kinds! My friend in Ft Morgan had them and said they worked, and they do! Good value for the money, adhesion is great and very easy to assemble! All you need is an air pump! I can sit on my patio in peace!!!

I was expecting something much thicker than the big balloons you punch on a rubber band but these are barely much thicker. Worth $50? Not even close. Plus the adhesive spray comes out like white silly string and nothing even close to the video for this product. And of course I got suckered and bought an extra one for $20. I'm out $70 for something that I'm not remotely confident will work. If I'm wrong, I'll update my review.

Really works! Set up two in our backyard and within a day they were covered in yellow flies. So glad we bought these.Do make sure you’re wearing gloves when applying the spray and hanging. Very very sticky. If you get it on your hands or anything some nail polish remover should do the trick.Only downside is it’s not really reusable but I’m not going to count that against the product because it’s not designed to be reusable. Will be ordering more!
