The quality of this sauce is amazing. You can use it by itself or when making the best homemade Italian spaghetti sauce.

This is the first time I've had this sauce: it's really, really great-tasting tomato sauce.I had to stop myself from eating all of it, right out of the can! Well ... one can, I mean.Not the whole pack! o_oSo: first of it, I love the way it tastes. It's very flavorful - not bland, but not overly spicy.Next: I don't use the typical "pasta sauce" that you get in the glass jar, for several reasons;the main reason being that most of them contain corn syrup as a 'sweetener' - and I avoidthat stuff like the plague. The ones that do not contain corn syrup are too pricey for me.This Mutti brand, however, contains no corn syrup that I can see on the label, yet it's still*just sweet enough* to eat right out of the can, like I said.Next: it's lower in sodium, compared to the other top brands. Only 85 mg!That's awesome. Hey, if I need more salt, I can always add it in, myself.I use this on pasta (along with a spritz of sea salt, and a tablespoon or so of extra virgin olive oil).I also mix it in a bowl with the extra virgin olive oil and some sea salt, as sort of a dip (?) for Italianbread, or in my case, small dinner rolls. Ciabatta bread/rolls would also be great, dipped in the mix.Now, my own order did not contain any dented cans, so perhaps this issue has been addressed?All in all, I really, really like this tomato sauce - it's pretty much the best I've had, so far.

I t smelled great when I opened the can. There was not underlying kind of bitter smell like I get with name brands from the US. I made the best Marinara sauce I ever made. I will continue buying this brand from Amazon asit is not found in my small town. It is not even very expensive compared to other name brands.

Arrived quickly

Buy this instead of jarred grocery sauce. Add oil and some umami (mushroom or beef powder). Savory and simple and excellent texture.

Very good ! Def has a strong taste of oregano. A great base to enhance depending on the dish you are creating

I hate to leave a one star review, because the quality of this product is excellent even though a couple of the cans were dented. That didn’t bother me. But by leaving a one star, I now the chances that my review will be read increase and will benefit somebody who reads this. Listen, this product is fabulous I am sure, and Pasquale Sciarappa recommends it in at least one of his dishes. I know that there are people out there who love this sauce and I’m happy for them. For my tastes, it’s a bit sweet and thin in body. That’s it, my only knock. I like other sauces better. If you don’t like sweeter sauces, this one may not be for you. Shine on!!

Although a couple of cans were dented, they were not damaged beyond use. The quality of the sauce is superb.
