SAFAVIEH Bella Collection 3' x 5' Ivory/Grey BEL117A Handmade Modern Abstract Premium Wool Area Rug

I have a few issues with this rug, but let's talk about the positives first.PROS:1) Thick, thick pile, easily 1/2 inch in depth, gives a substantial look to this carpet. Also, it's 100% wool and has very dense pile.2) The back is finished very well. Looks like a masterpiece of sewing, itself. The jute backing is soft & flexible.3) Dimensions were accurate.4) Visually, very appealing. The design on this carpet is free-form and abstract and a perfect counterpoint to angular furniture.5) Feels great under feet!CONS:1) The shedding that I am currently experiencing is UNBELIEVABLE. I have wool fibers EVERYWHERE in my living room. This is NOT desirable.2) The dying process is iffey at best. It appears that the dye didn't fully adhere to the wool in places, giving some ends of the pile a whitish cast. This carpet MIGHT be a manufacturer's second.3) Packaging it arrived in did not fully protect the rug from the elements while enroute to South Korea.With the above in mind, I have to mention though that I believe the rug was well priced. Consequently, if you like good values but may have a little less attention to finish (particularly with the dye process) this might be your carpet. Otherwise, the frustrated interior designer in me would say to forget it, buy something else.Although the shedding I am experiencing is truly a thing to behold! I guess that's what you get when you buy a sheared wool rug manufactured in India.

It is so unfortunate that I had to return this rug. It just did not fit in any of my rooms. But it is so beautiful and exceptional quality, I kept thinking I could make it fit somewhere. Alas, not so. I would highly recommend this rug if it fits your color scheme and decor.

Don't purchase. First of all when it arrived it smelled like mildew-it took a couple weeks for the smell to go away. Sprayed with Lysol and Fabreeze. But the worst part is it sheds like crazy. I had a dog that shed (and I was constantly vacuuming) -she passed away a few years ago and I now have a non shedding dog-but now I have to vacuum several times a day to pick up all the material the rug sheds. Just awful. Will need to dispose of the rug. Very disappointed.

It is a great abstract rug for the value. Well finished. A nice accent on my concrete floor. I bought several rugs from Savavieh and am happy with all my purchases. The rugs are also well packaged.

This wool rug is great quality with beautiful colors of ivory, beige, black and grey. Love the abstract design and thickness of rug!
