Amana Tool - 46282 CNC 2D & 3D Carving 5.4 Deg Tapered Angle Ball Tip 1/16 Dia x 1/32 Ra

I use this bit to make the final cut on bowls and trays. It is the smoothest-cutting bit of this type that I have ever purchased. Most users would probably not need to do any additional sanding at all, the results are so good. The finish on our products is buttery-smooth, so we finish the inside walls just a tad more with 220 and 400 sandpaper, and the bottoms just a touch with 400, but very little, after using this bit. In this case, you really get what you pay for. Highly recommended!

It’s a good bit, performs like it should.

Used This Bit and got way from the 14 hr carving down to 3 or 4 hrs with almost same Quality and without doing a rough cut kinda scary at first but once you get to the stepover its real nice and smooth real clean cuts also had 2 days and will order a back up!! Already see the difference in my Cuts!! Photo is cherry on walnut!!

It's probably a good bit, I crashed mine and chipped the tip. Still working fine just a tad bit wider now

I bought this for cnc routing topographic maps in wood.

Best bit I have used to date for fine detail work. Running it in a Shapeoko 3 and it does an excellent job at the recommended feeds.

I had to make 50 feet of this moulding. We roughed it out with the 1/4" ball nose bit. I bought 2 just in case the first one got dull. We didn't need the second one. When we were finished, the bit was still sharp.
