Andover Healthcare3100RB-030 Coflex Bandage, Latex, 1" x 5 yd. Size, Rainbowpack (Pack of 30)

My wife recently slipped and sprained her toe. Along with that her toe nail came almost all off dangling by the root. When treated at an urgent care the doctor wrapped her foot using a cohesive bandage. Not sure what brand they used. The doctor told her to clean the injured toenail and change the dressing everyday and the wrap that they used could only be reused about 3 more times. So my wife started to use just the regular clear medical tape. As soon as she used the regular medical tape she complained about how uncomfortable her foot was being that she felt the regular tape didn’t stretch or move well and was too tight when her foot compressed with the ground. She felt her toe wasn’t getting enough air thus causing it to itch. Also with the regular tape it kept feeling like the bandage was coming off and being the injury is on her foot and touches the dirty ground she felt like every grain of dirt and debris was sticking to the regular tape. Frustrated she wondered about what kind of tape the urgent care used and being a medical professional (and no I don’t have this type of bandage) I told her it was self cohesive tape. So she started doing research and found this tape. The moment she used this tape she was extremely happy. She said her foot felt so much better and could move more freely with this tape. Also her toe immediately stopped itching and it’s so much cleaner cause dirt is not sticking to the bandage which probably caused her foot to itch more. This tape is amazing! The only reason I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because it doesn’t seem to be self-tearing like the one the doctor used. But other than that a great product. Highly recommend!

The price was cheaper than what my hand doctor offers and any local drugstore. My only complaint is I have more green bandage than anything. The bandages do what they say. Would reorder.

After having tried other cohesive bandages, I have found the Andover Coflex to be my preferred choice. It is slightly thicker and heavier weight than the 3M Coban (and others) I've used previously, and for me, seems to hold it's shape a bit better when flexed continuously on fingers and joints. I also like that it is made in the USA. A good product and great value at price paid.

The doctors' office charged me $6 a roll. What a mark up! I got them with this pack for a little over $1 a roll. Thanks!
