I like the way the pillow was made. But it goes flat and not as filled as I thought it would be. Way too expensive for the performance if this pillow

A well made, made in the USA pillow. A high quality product all around.I ended up purchasing the medium pillow as I figured this would be best suited for me. Unfortunately, it didn't compress over time to my liking. I've slept with down pillows for most of my life so I think the pillows not being so malleable didn't work well in my favor either. I think if you're looking at an upgrade from something like a cotton pillows this would work well.I'm still going to give this pillow five stars due to how well made it is. I may try and order the soft version of the pillow in hopes it works well for my fragile man neck.

Wow! This thing is FLUFFY! I just opened the box so I will update this after a couple weeks if I remember. At first impression, it’s fluffy, no awkward smell and soft. Looks exactly like the picture:) I got the light and I am glad I did. I like lower profile pillows and even though this might take a while to get to the level of flatness I like it feels wonderful right out of the box. It feels heavier than regular cotton but not lumpy as I have heard wool tends to feel. I love that it’s environmentally healthy as well. I can’t wait to sleep on this tonight!!

I have been looking for a pillow that would not affect my many allergies and sensitivities and still be comfy.I can’t have wool or latex and microfiber or bamboo pillows have to outgas for months before I can use them. Cotton packs down and becomes uncomfortable. Along comes alpaca pillows! So, so soft and luxuriously comforting….it cradles your head and sends you off to the best sleep you’ve ever had! No toxic smells either. Highly recommended for the most sensitive among us!

I have now slept on the light fill pillow which is very high and very hard to sleep on and it also is very hot.I did as the seller said and I gave it a full two weeks to try to flatten out. It has been in the 90's when these pillows arrived and as I do not have air conditioning, I found these pillows very hot in trying to sleep.I finally returned these pillows for a full refund. I just could not get the light fill to flatten enough and again I found the pillow itself very hot, not cool or relaxing for a good nights sleep.I want to thank the seller for a full refund when the two pillows were returned.

I purchased this pillow directly from Malpaca. I’ve now had this pillow for approximately 5 months. First couple of months were fine. It’s not my first alpaca sleeping pillow and I wanted one with more loft.After a couple of months the alpaca fleece bunched up and is so uncomfortable and impossible to redistribute. I tried many different ways to flatten out the bunching but to no avail.Sometime before Christmas, which was after the 30 day return/replace period and spoke to a lovely person who was so helpful; helpful over the phone but did nothing in actuality. She did tell me that since I wrote a negative review on their website she would get back to me. I never heard from her again.Tonight I finally opened the 70% cotton 30%bamboo fabric cover and what I found is truly the antithesis of the alpaca wool pictured in the description.The alpaca fleece is mainly dark brown and I was shocked at how haphazardly the filling was placed. There are two layers with nothing to hold the layers together. The interior of the cover isn’t smooth but catches the fibers and may be part of the problem contributing to making it impossible for the pillow to keep its shape.Even after freeing the fleece from its cover it was still difficult to smooth out. I will have tp figure out how to redistribute, smooth out the multiple knotty bunches, and somehow attach the two layers together.I paid a lot of money to end up with a pillow from a company that guarantees a comfortable night sleep. I have a stiff neck from this poorly executed over hyped expensive pillow.I wish I could find the name of the company I purchased my first pillow from. It’s years old and still in perfect condition.Do not buy from this company as you will end up having to open the cover and find a lumpy mess to contend with.

I'm a big fan of alpaca blankets, so when I saw these pillows, I was curious. The price is point is at the very top of the market, but I liked the fact that the alpacas require the shearing each year, and that it's a sustainable product. I have been sleeping on a lightly stuffed queen size pillow, and I am happy with it. I like a pretty flat pillow, and it took a couple weeks for me to really adjust to the pillow, and for the pillow to adjust to me. I also found it to run hot, so I put a cooling cover on, and heat retention hasn't been too bad. But I run very hot, so most people are unlikely to have this issue. Overall, this pillow is truly sumptuous. It's hard to put into words how luxurious the alpaca fur feels inside the pillow. The outer covering of the pillow is really nice, and feels great to the touch. One other benefit is that I have had no allergy issues with this pillow, and it doesn't shed at all. You won't have to worry about getting poked by the end of a feather.

I prefer flatter pillows that do not prop my head up too much, so I ordered the light fill pillow and it was perfect. It’s extremely soft, and stays that way all night. If it flattens you much, all I have to do is flip it over and I’m good to go. 100% recommend for anyone trying to get a better night’s sleep.

Tolles Kissen aus reinen Naturprodukten.Schlagartig ist die Nase frei nachts und ich kann besser schlafen als vorher.Leider war die soft Variante nicht lieferbar, so habe ich das medium Kissen genommen.Könnte etwas weicher für meinen Geschmack sein.
