very nice grey filament
very nice grey, ideal filament if you need to see every facet and face and inspect for pinholes or other signs of failure in a 3d print, this filament is ideal if you need to prime and paint your work afterwards as it reflects the light very well.

My white filament of choice going forward
I print a lot with white filament and has tested quite a few in the past. My methodology is usually the following:1. I check the packaging and how well wounded the filament is in the spool. This is imperative when it comes to avoiding tangles. I was pleased to see that not only this filament was well packaged and vacuum-sealed which makes sure no moisture goes in, but also that a zip lock bag came inside the box, which is not something I had seen before. This will make it much easier to store the spool once I switch colours.2. I check the filament width in a few different parts. This tells me the kind of environment this filament was extruded and whether their machines were well-calibrated. I measure this filament in a couple of areas when I first unpacked it and then again after using a few meters of it. I was pleased to see that no matter where I checked, I always got consistent 1.75mm. I have seen filaments in the past that thicken throughout the spool, but I have already used about 120 grams of this filament and have not seen it thickening which was a pleasant surprise.3. Lastly, I try a few prints. I started with a white temperature tower which told me the best temperature for my printer (and Ender 3) and this filament was 205 degrees.I then moved on to something more intrinsic as pictured. This is a textured model of My Neighbour Totoro as found in Thingiverse. As you can see, the texture came out perfect and it's ready to be painted. This model is not to be sanded and the "rough" texture is part of it, and I was really pleased with it.I like printing something that relies on support because poor quality filament does quite badly when it comes to removing supports leaving a bunch of artefacts and being super sticky and hard to remove. Not the case here! 🤗My settings are the following:- Ender 3 with a Bullseye part cooler- Bed Temperature: 50 Degrees- Hot End Temperature: 205 Degrees- Layer Height: 0.20mmThis filament is awesome and so far everything I threw at it came out perfect.

Starting to get expensive compared to other brands
Tinmorry has been my go to PLA filament for over 2 years, but the prices are starting to look uncompetitive (Oct 2022) compared to other comparible brands.

It had trouble sticking
I had trouble getting the filament to stick to the bed. As it kept coming off and waisting filament. I had a similar black filament with the same print and it stuck much better

Really nice PLA
Have used their CF-PLA and had good results with it decided to give the standard PLA a try and was not disappointed printing on ender 3 nozzle at 215 bed at 55 and getting really nice results, good bed adhesion really nice clean surfaces really strong prints. Only negative I would say is they don't seem to have a very wide range of colors

Alk good :)
First time trying this brand. Normaly just use amazon basics but this printed very well. Prints better less temps then the amazon. 210/65 works good for me on ender3v2Will buy again 👍

Another brand to add to the good list
I have been printing a fair of stuff during lockdown, mostly doing upgrades for my ender 3 pro. With lockdown I have had to learn to change brands when unable to get original.I was in the need for a nice pure white pla, so that I can look at printing a lithophane lampshade for my nephew. I came across this on Amazon and for the price and customer score, it was a no brainer to try.The filament arranged in the usuall brown box and comes very nicely vacuum packed as can see in photo. It also came with a zip lock back for storage. This is always a bonus and if the filament prints well, goes on my good list.I have only done the very basic tests with this filament so far, a temp tower and a few other calibration pieces. I have not had to make any adjusts at all. My temp remains at 205, and heated bed at 55. The calibration parts when printed were good. This stuff does exactly what it needs to. The spool still remains nicely wound after first few layers coming off. This filament is defiantly worth it. I would add this to a list of good filaments and create a list on Amazon for this. You will not be disappointed.
