I love this except for one thing...
I love that it came with a vented lid. Boils water much faster that my regular kettles, & I have a glass top electric stove.. Very nonstick following instructions enclosed, which are slightly varied/different than advertised. The only thing I'm not crazy about, are the handles. They have a ?silicone? rubber-like covering, but doesn't cover the outer sides, so it you touch that, you'll get burned. Plus, these coverings have a slit on the inside, (I presume so that you can slide off & remove & wash underneath), but if draining s heavy pot of boiled noodles, for example, if you squeeze the handles too tightly, your fingers may touch that slit space & burn your fingers. (a design issue) I'd give it 5 stars if the ?silicone? coverings completely covered the entire handle & did not have slits (to remove them.) I would still definately buy it again, just use potholders to prevent any burns.

Unfortunately I found two small compromised "finish" scratches upon opening the product. I tried calling CS only to find and listen to an automated recording that told me to call a second number in order to deal with my concerns. However, the automated recording did not mention the product I purchased and left me guessing and trying three different phone extensions of which a real person never picked up!!! Very disappointed- I would have to give a half-star rating at this point. I expected that a compromised product, specifically the special coating, would have been removed by quality control and not sent on for packing. 👎🏼

Great pot; however, the cool touch handles are a concern.
I have heard such good things about this pot that I was looking forward to receiving it. There are a few things I really like about it.Pros:- It is PFOA and PFTE free, which is a huge deal to our family.- It cooks faster than the other pots I own.- It cooks evenly, I was very excited about this fact.- I love the vented lid.- Its easy to handle.- Its easy to clean, food wipes right off. Hand washing is recommended. .Cons:On the description it says that the handle is always cool to the touch. It sounds great!! The problem is that there is a rubber like material that is attached to both of the handles. If the material moves, you could seriously burn yourself. When I unwrapped the pot, the rubber material was not completely attached. I took some pictures so you can see what I am saying. It is very easy to move these pieces. It is cool to the touch if the material stays on, but I would use oven mitts for this one.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Good stock pot, but check for scratches in the coating
The pot arrived quickly put i noticed the coating was scraped in several places around where the lid sits. I tried to get Amazon to send a replacement, but all they offered was a refund once I returned the item. I didn't want a refund, I wanted a replacement, so that was frustrating. I kept it since I received it at a discount in exchange for my review, figuring the discounted price is what I'd pay for a pot with a few scratches, and I really like it. I don't think it's anything special as far as how it heats, though. It seems to heat up and disperse heat the same as my other pots. The coating does seem to make a difference, though. I made a dish with a lot of tumeric and I've stained pots that way. This one was fine. Pasta doesn't seem to stick as easily if you don't stir it often enough. It's a good pot, I just wish Amazon would have exchanged it for an undamaged one. I have concerns about the longevity of the pot with the scratches in the coating.

Came with a scratch which the company easily switched out
Came with a scratch which the company easily switched out.....but the side rubber pieces get hot and you will burn your hands.....watch out for that. Probably would not buy again.

Decent pot
I really don't notice any faster cooking from this pot, but it is nice and solid and sturdy. It cleans up easily and i enjoy using it. The only thing I do not like is the handles. The plastic "coverings" come off and really do not provide any heat protection since they have a slit in the middle where you grip the pot making it still touchable with your fingers. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Design of handles a problem
After using this pot for several months I now realize that the handles have a serious flaw. The rubber covering the handles does not stay in place covering the metal all the time. It can slip and slide and expose metal to your fingers. Also, the rubber coverings do not completely cover the full circumference of the handle metal. The inner surface of the handle is not completely covered by the rubber sleeve which slides over the handle. When lifting a hot pot you have to be careful to not curl your fingers around the handle or you get burned. Makes it difficult when pot is full and heavy. I've had a few close calls, almost dropping pot. Company needs to improve on the handle design.

Great, Great CorVex Pans
Of course all the CorVex pans are great, easy to wash, nothing sticks and you don't have tohave the stove on high for the food to cook, so you don't have to worry about burning anything. Anne Burell really knows her stuff.
