I really don't do reviews too often and I definitively do not expect much for a sub $100 backpack. Most of us should know that no backpack is perfect based on our different needs and items we carry. the reason i started looking for backpacks is because the carry handle of my samsonite backpack broke after merely 4month! i call that BS. i actually loved that pack since it fills my needs pretty adequately i must say. what i look for in a backpack is that it must have enough side pockets to carry two 25oz water bottles, got to have enough padded protection for my laptop and ipad, big enough storage area to fit my lab book and folders plus a few text books, be comfortable enough to carry around campus all day, and durable. with that being said, i was willing to be content if this pack can fulfill just a few of my needs....i just received this yesterday and from the first look, my thoughts were " ok, this might not fit everything i need to put inside"...well, guess what? looks can be deceiving, this pack have a lot of real estate on the interior but somehow makes it look slim (to a certain degree) on the outside!! here is what i put inside, i can hypothesize all my stuff weights maybe around 50lbs. I've got : 1macbook air, 1ipad, 1 textbook, 1 three ring folder, 2 lab books, 1 lab manue, 1 pencil bag, 1 macbook charger (with the heavy chord), 2x 25oz water bottle, plus wallet and keys. I can say with 100% certainty that the weight on my back feels way lighter compared to my old pack. i can actually feel the bottom cushion resting on my lower back and the big cushion at the very top of the pack(backside) the shoulder straps are the biggest and widest I've ever seen, definitely a bit wider than the picture. but it is sooooooo comfortable!! the tiny cushions on the side of the straps felt absolutely amazing while the scattered tiny cushions also helps prevent the straps from sliding on my shoulders. no issues with the zippers, it actually feels more zippy than most of my old packs, even compares to my everki glide! the material feels pretty durable, even the mesh water bottle holder on both sides are built with high quality, feels like your typical swissgear cushion mesh style. with all these good things being mentioned, you should all know that nothing is perfect, the part i found to be not so perfect is the d@amn title, multi function water proof? how you gonna protect anything when you have 3 big @ss holes on each side of the main compartment? am i suppose to put my books in a rain cover and then put it in the main compartment to satisfy your water proof statement/??? thats just ridiculous!!overall, despite the false advertisement issue, i think this backpack is very promising. it satisfies pretty much all my needs (other than that water proof part, but i always consider that a bonus anyway, i aint exposing this thing that holds all my stuff to the rain, rather get rained on myself). Also, you should know that i have no illusion or expectation of this thing being the real deal swissgear or fake. Ive got amazon prime and i would just return this thing if its not of good quality regardless what brand it is. So, real or fake, i am impressed with this backpack and that is why im typing this up as soon as i got to the library after my typical 20min hike from the parking lot. I hope this helps anyone that is looking for a good backpack for school or daily commute

Great bag.

Low quality material and the zipper often tears from the bag when I put little bit heavy item.Went to sewing service for more than 5 times.The zipper always opens it by it self if the pull tab placed at the top or middle. It has to be at the end of right or left side to prevent to open itself and it will be worse if you run..DO NOT BUY THIS!!

its a good bag... takes a long time to deliver... my main issue is that they advertise it as water resistant but its not... as an everyday bag its fine but dont use it in the rain
