KIBOW Stainless Steel Forge/Furnace Burner

Previously it took me nearly 2 hours to get copper somewhat melted.. I ordered this burner (and a 12ft hose with a guage) based off the reviews, hooked it up, put about 5lbs of copper in a crucible, within 30 minutes I was already pouring into a mold. This is only my 2nd burner(different brand and style), but it is 10x better than my last one and completely blew my expectations out of the water. If I ever need another one, I'm ordering this again. It's great quality, and works crazy good. My 1 and only complaint is the allen bolt vs a thumb screw. I keep it loose anyway, but to have to find an Allen key to loosen/tighten anything on the fly, sucks. Still worth every 5 star I gave it.

My original burner on my forge wasn’t cutting it, I had to have 30 psi on it to melt copper. I installed this one and instantly could tell the difference, I can pour copper at 14 psi in 20 minutes from cold now. WORTH IT!

Works great for my homemade forge. I tried to save money using other torches but ended up spending more in the long run. Do yourself a favor and just order this burner. After messing around with the air adjustment I had it running pretty good in just 5 minutes or so. Was able to heat 1/4” thick steel to non magnetic in 5-7 minutes

Worked well. I think the knob on the thread to tighten the air intake could be larger considering that you'll likely adjust with heavy insulated gloves. Used with forge to melt aluminum.

The media could not be loaded. I heated up a test wrench, to forging temperature in about a minute and a half. This thing Cooks good

Works well once you get it adjusted correctly. I will need to replace the outer pipe on the flame side eventually because the steel is oxidizing and flaking off, still has plenty of life though.

This burner was just slipped in from a corner opening of a temporary firebrick forge. No mortar just stacked. I was surprised how fast this burner heated 1/4" thick 1045 steel to non-magnetic (see photo). Less than 10 mins coming off a standard BBQ propane tank using only 8 psi (see photo). You supply your own hose/gauge. I expected to tune the burner, but I did not have to. When I build a big boy permanent forge, I will be adding two more of these for a triple burner. Also get a longer hose so you can control the proximity and safety. Highly recommended.

I can't see how anyone can melt copper with this burner. Very low amount of flame for melting aluminum, which it failed at melting, let alone anything hotter. Charcoal works better than this burner, which is also very hard to adjust to get it hot enough without it flaming out. It might work for forging, since you are not melting the steel and there is less of it. Made a burner from a YouTube video for $100, which puts this to shame!!!
