The New Inductive Study Bible (ESV, Milano Softone, Burgundy)

The instructions can be overwhelming but you just have to take it slow. It’s got some great resources in there without all the extra words of a normal study Bible taking over the pages. You can make your own charts and notes with suggested markings and study tools. It’s hard to write or highlight directly on the pages because it bleeds through a bit but I will use sticky notes and very pale highlighters so it doesn’t bleed. There is some ghosting but nothing terrible.

The Inductive Study Bible guides you through really digging into each book, discovering themes, and applying biblical truth to your own life. Its many extra study helps along with the Bible itself are bound together in a lovely cover.

I'm new to the inductive Bible study method and chose this Bible to use. However, any Bible can be used for the inductive method. I use Crayola-colored erasable pencils and, at times, Frixion erasable pens. I'm blown away by how much more I'm enjoying the Bible and by how much I'm remembering.The blank columns are perfect for journaling, and I use these sections to write a short synopsis of the significant points in the chapter. At the end of each book is a chart for the themes of the chapters.The Inductive study method really pulls it all together. I started with the book of Ester and have found much more enjoyment than merely reading the Bible. I look forward to reading and studying the word of God due to the inductive method. It slows your brain down and makes the story come to life.If you've been thinking about this Bible, don't wait.

The media could not be loaded.  I received my new Bible this morning and I absolutely love it! The text is large enough to be very readable and each verse of the text is listed separately so it’s very easy to find a verse of scripture without having to hunt around for it in a paragraph form. It is a pretty Bible too. It’s a nice green with a pretty design on the front and the cover is nice and soft. It does have a ribbon marker also. I’m totally happy with my purchase!

I absolutely love this book that I bought in 2021. But however I do not like the fact that God’s words are not written in Red as in the King James Version. As I was going through my book and highlighting all Gods words in red I noticed that there are also several paragraphs missing in Matthew and Mark so far which are words spoken by God himself.I paid a lot of money for this book and have really learned a lot but I feel it needs to be re-edited to a better quality and updated. Important information missing

I have wanted to get this bible for a long time and now finally got it. is wonderful. With all the resources and teaching I'll be on this bible for a long time. Is a hard cover well bounded. Beautiful. I definitely recommended it if you are a student of a bible.

When I first heard about inductive study methods, it was explained as marking up the keywords in different colors. Well, that really didn't appeal to me because I thought...what is the point?? Fast forward several years later and getting tired of reading through the Bible while my brain wanders to what grocery items I need or my to do list after I finish reading, etc. I knew I needed a different approach to almost force my brain to focus more intentionally on what I was reading. I decided to do some research on inductive study methods then I ordered this Bible to try it out. Well, I am so glad I did because it is much more than colored pens and pencils. It is intentional focused reading and re-reading to mark words, chew on the concepts, write summary information and important information, and then more chewing so to speak. I started with Colossians 2 days ago and have read the entire book at least 5 times during all the marking, chewing, writing, etc. I'm retaining information like I had not in the past. I'm seeing deeper into the Word...if that makes sense to anyone. Suffice it to say, I wish I started this years ago! As for the actual set-up of this Bible, the margins are larger than standard and the font is larger than standard as well. The pages are slightly thicker than the usual and I have found that colored pencils and ball-point pens work the best for minimal see through on the back side.

Absolutely love this bible .......... It comes with guidance on the inductive study method.This isn't your average study bible that is filled with notes ........ It's a bible for you to use to study and record what you think via the guided study instructions for each book.I'm using as my everyday compendium of the best bits of notes and teaching ........ Fantastic

very good just started using it but all the same its very good, make sure you down load stuff from precepts website there is a lot of very useful information especially when you are just a beginner in using the inductive study bible!

I really enjoy this Bible for inductive study. It gives great guides as you enter every new book of the Bible. My only qualm is that if you are doing any inductive studies with Precept Ministries, or working with Kay Arthurs Inductive study books, know that they all use the NASB 1995 version of their Bibles, so it can be a bit confusing at times. In hindsight, I would rather use the version they use than the ESV. I do love the soft green cover though and it's prettier than the NASB version. I still recommend the Inductive Study Bible over a regular Bible because it's specially written for that type of study. Since finding Inductive Study it has literally transformed me. I had so many questions and still do, but this type of Bible really offers great clarity on what the Holy Spirit is trying to teach you. I highly recommend it. I removed one star due to the fact that Precepts and Kay Arthur prefers to refer to the NASB over the ESV.
