Aero tech Designs Century shorts are Oh So Comfortable!
I bought these Aerotech designs century shorts after trying three different brands of cycle shorts in the $30-$45 range from Amazon. None of those were completely satisfactory. I’m 6 foot one, 224 pounds and, at age 60, it has been difficult to ride much over 50 miles without getting saddle sore. The problem seems to be that the other shorts have a very soft chamois material with ventilation holes that end up causing friction and chafing in areas where you don’t want friction! These Aerotech shorts have a higher density black foam chamois with small pleats running for an aft but no ventilation holes. The result is a very comfortable smooth surface to sit on that has just a little cushion but not too much. I haven’t taken them for a long ride yet, but after years of cycling I know a good product when I wear it. I know I’m going to love these shorts. I’m just hoping Aerotech makes long legged tights as well for winter riding. This is definitely a great value for under $70. I would not hesitate to recommend these to my friends. In fact, my wife took a look at the construction and after listening to my rave reviews she told me to buy a pair for her as well!

BEST out of all the others I have tried
I have tried just about all the cycling pants on here priced around the $30-$40 dollar range, and all made my sit bones really sore after about 3-5 miles.I did a 1 hour ride with the AERO|TECH|DESIGNS | Men's Century Padded Cycling Shorts | Long Distance Performance and found my sit bones were not sore after about 12 miles or so.My normal rides now are between 30-50 miles. So I"m not sure these will work on a century.I am 5 foot 9 inches tall at about 164 pounds, my clothes are anywhere between 34 and 35 inch waist. The Large fit really nice and my normal cycling size I always get. All the others on here from other places are always too small.Pictures are my seat I use to show you the kind of riding I do. My average is around 4,000 miles a cycling season with working full time during the day.The "ONLY CON" I see is they are kinda thin, and don't know how long they will hold up. It feels like no support for your thighs. To do a Century ride, I will never know anymore as I am 72 years old and did my full share of Centuries over the years."FINAL SAY: I will end up buying another pair as a backup when these wear out."ALWAYS, ALWAYS " Wash them in warm water in a BRA BAG/SWEATER BAG in a washing machine, and DO NOT put in the dryer, but hang them up. Been doing this for over 35 years of cycling and it keeps the pants in good shape.

Cycling shorts
Fit is great. Price is good, very good. Made in the USA. Delivery was by USPS in only a few days from PA to IL

Padding is poor
Other bike shorts at 1/3 the price have thicker and denser padding. Not worth the money.

Great Bike Shorts
They fit a tad snugly, but that is a good thing, as opposed to be too loose.

Comfortable
Most likely the best cycling shorts bought. Fit great and super comfortable
