Grande 100% Baby Alpaca Yarn - Ivory #100

I love alpaca because it’s soft and not itchy. My neighbor asked me to knit her granddaughter a teddy bear. I normally use a fluffy yarn so the short row stitches don’t show. This yarn turned out fine, in spite of the stitching being visible.

Sheds very badly. t’s very soft, but fabric does get on your clothing and on everything around it.

Soft and luxurious - works up fast on size 11/13 needles. I am making an afghan and want to snuggle while I am still knitting. Can't wait til it's done. I have used it for felted derby hats - my niece was stopped at Sundance and asked where she got it!'I have also made sweaters. A beautiful yarn in every sense. If it were machine washable it would be perfect, but as it is, it is close!

Soft. Perfect thickness. Not chunky. Perfect for my beanie. I made the brim. And it’s doubled over, so I just ordered more. This pattern is a two skein job. But it’s soo soft. Perfect

Loved this yarn! My mom knit a blanket for my son (I ended up having to buy 4 of these to make the blanket). It does shed a bit, but I guess that's because of the material. It is soooo soft & I love using it.

I made a hat with the beautiful yarn; first time I've used it. Worth the price!
