Not Meant For Rough Seas
This is a sturdy and VERY comfortable raft in calm water (lake or pool). It even functions well in mild wave swells at the beach--but definitely NOT in crashing waves. Picture 3 shows it held up (I was aboard) anchored in deeper water during a storm. I have to mention how much I really appreciate the WHITE raft surface when the sun was blistering any other colored surface at the beach. Notice my 2 photos which show that I used sand-filled cat litter jugs I saved at home. 3 @ ~40 lbs each will be sufficient but 4 would be better. I braided paracord and affixed snaplinks (carabiners) to each end of these 10-12 ft ropes anchored in 6 feet of water. Note that the snaplinks don't snap onto the cat litter jug handles (used waterproof duct tape). With two heavy adults on the raft (under 400 lbs) we did well with low ocean swells at the beach. I had no problems with assembly or inflation but you must purchase an electric inflater that comes with small, medium and large nozzle attachments (runs on 12V cigarette lighter-style outlet in your car). This raft has 3 big air ports for inflation. Assembling/Disassembling the canopy is challenging to some people but it's worth the time. It will only shield about half of the raft when the sun is directly overhead. I failed to pay attention to the slight drift of my raft until I was in crashing waves near the shore. The raft anchor points are sturdy but I allowed unreasonable stress on them and the rear port ripped out of the raft and destroyed the outer air bladder in the raft. Trashed the raft but I'll buy a new one next summer--lesson learned. With 4 anchors there will be no drift. I will just have to pay attention to the high/low tide table. NOTE*** heavy people should board the raft in shallow water. It's a real challenge if you wait until later.

Pure POS
The item was purchased in November 2022 as an Xmas gift for my wife. Upon opening the box for the first time on July 1, 2023, the item was inflated per instructions and found right away to have an air leak. The provided patches were used to seal the leak, once again, per instructions, only to find that the float STILL leaked air. I could NOT find the leak(s) no matter what I did. The patch I put on was washed off within 2 days from the pool water. I only gave it one star because I had to in order to complete the review process.Made email contact with company who wanted photos, etc. I Didn't bother with it because clearly the results are a foregone conclusion. I wont get my $$$ back due to passage of time and they will not send another one. I wouldnt take a truckload of them anyway at this point. This product is a complete ripoff!! Poor design, poor material, poor seams, poor patches, poor everything!DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

It’s ok
Love the float and canopy. However the seem for the back pillow had a hole in it. We have tried to patch it but nothing seems to hold. Since we ordered in dec for use this summer we aren’t able to return.

Not worth the money
I absolutely loved it at first, but then it started to keep deflating. The back pillow area specifically. I waited to write a review till now hoping it would not disappoint....But it has! Also, it's not easy to get in and out of. And I am healthy and super fit!Not worth the hefty price.Next time, I'll stick to my Target brand.

very impressed
I purchased this in March for a vacation we just had mid July on a lake, it performed well beyond expectations. We had 2 adults and 3 children on this at one point which did become a little confined, but for two adults it's spacious.Only issue was setting up with the canopy on it caught enough wind to drag our anchor and additional rafts to the shore....I added more weight to the tie off system...4 cinder blocks and a rope with buoy, being a very nice weather week and looking to tan We kept the canopy off, the canopy poles are a bit tricky as the separate when attempting to slide through the ruffles...Other than that I had no leaks and only need a quick top off of air on the base from temperature changes over night to midday...

Returned unused and amazed by customer service
I purchased primarily for the large SPF canopy, I had been looking for a long time. After receiving I realized the size 71x71 was going to be a monster for me to carry down the wooded path to our lake by myself. The Giantex customer service rep Rachel was very responsive and after a few exchanges it appeared they were not going to be able to return the item to their merchandiser and we came to an impass. The company completely stunned me by refunding my entire purchase! You simply do not see many companies act with this level of integrity anymore and it reinforced why I try so hard to work with US local companies anytime I can. Great experience, thank you Rachel.

BAD QUALITY
This product took us 1 hour to blow up (WITH AN ELECTRIC PUMP) and even longer to deflate it. This product was great for when you were laying on it but sometimes it deflated in the water. For something so expensive I think it is not worth the money and time, you have to take blowing it up and deflating it. They could have also spent like 1 more dollar to get bigger pump holes so it could be more usable and easier to in and de flate.
