Super easy to install, 1 wire to the battery (internal fuse so no need to add one, but I did install a terminal connector). 3 bolts (included) that matched the existing threads so no need for nuts or replacement bolts (i was prepared to use the old bolts from the existing jack). i threw in a dab of lock tight and install took less than 15 minutes with nothing more than a socket wrench to tighten the bolts and a pair of pliers to crimp the terminal connector. Worked right out of the box and saves the time and energy of using the manual crank style Jack that was on my camper. the lights are perfect for hooking up in the dark but be sure to turn them off as they will drain the battery. once calibrated the built in level works great. i do wish it had 2 though so you could level front back AND side to side but i knew that going in.

Replaced a failing original equipment jack. 20 minutes and back in business. Turned controls to the side for more tailgate room.

So happy that this showed up prior to our trip. Hooked up the trailer to the truck and got the old manual crank off and this new power jack installed in about 30 minutes. Hooked up the power and the light came on as explained. cool. Hit the EXT button to Extend the jack and it worked... for about 2 seconds then shut off. Hit the RET switch to Retract the jack back up and nothing. hum.. Tried again and got another 1 second of EXT, and again, RET didn't do anything. Called Bulldog's customer service and they confirmed it was defective. So, had to take it off and repackage (thankfully I kept the original packaging) and return it to Amazon per Bulldog customer service. Amazon is shipping out the replacement, but won't be here in time for our trip. So, reinstalled the old manual crank. Hoping the replacement doesn't have the same issue. UPDATE... Replacement was delivered in 2 days and worked perfectly. Very happy that Amazon did not hesitate to reship even before old one was received back. All is well now. The new one lifts my trailer with ease.

Our electric jack that came with our 2021 rockwood roo bit the dust and I thought I’d give this unit a try. I love the smaller size of the top unit and built in level. The led lights on the jack are also better than the previous jack.Negatives I can think of would be the pull lever that lowers the bottom of the jack. Better than the pin method but is difficult to operate at times. Additionally, the jack is a bit less stable than our unit that came with the camper. The wobble isn’t unbearable but it is not as tight as I’d like.

The media could not be loaded. Sounds strong. Much faster raising and lowering than the manual version. The bubble level on top is more of a decoration than anything else. The internal extension is a plus. Makes the lowering and raising process quicker, the self engaging pin is nice too.

Perfect for our 27 foot Airstream. Bought 2 other branded jacks that claimed to lift 5000 lb. They couldn’t lift our Airstream hitch at all. The Bulldog is rated at 4000 lb and lifts with ease.

This thing is great. Easy to install, easy to wire. No more cranking the camper up and down. A friend who was on one of our camping trips saw it and bought one for his camper too. Some reviewers complained of it operating slowly. I'm not sure how theirs worked, but this is far faster than cranking ever was. I purchased the 4000 lb capacity jack for a 26' camper with a tongue weight of around 700 lbs so it might be a little overkill, but it works great and takes most of the work out of setting up and tearing down the camper.

I had done my research for an electric jack and this was the one I chose as it is highly rated by RV professionals and others. It took about an hour to install and functioned as it should. I would say that if you intend to get one, you should consider a weather cover for the controls as they are exposed and could shorten the life of the jack as rain, snow and sun hit it.

Works well. Used for the past 3 years multiple times a week on 6000lb trailer and still going.
