This fit both the coax cable and the TV perfectly. Works perfect at what it was supposed to do.What I did not know was that the frequency of the OTA broadcasts is different in the US from Europe. My TV would not work with the US broadcasting, so it ended up being of no use to me (my fault - no fault of the seller or the product). So keep that in mind.It would work well for connection to cable TV I am sure, or for a TV that was able to receive the US frequencies.

I needed to plug an F-type cable into a PAL-style TV jack, and what do you know, it worked.It should go without saying that this does not convert any signals or anything, just adapts one style of plug to another.Connection was a little loose on the PAL side and slightly hard to screw into my NTSC plug. 4/5.

Have an old Diamond Multimedia TV in card(ATI 750) that I wanted to re-use. The little antenna it came with wasn't cutting it in my basement. Needed this adapter so I could pop on a better antenna. Worked perfect.

I bought this thinking it would work for RCA to Coax for subwoofer connection; and it does not. There was no connection - something is short.I found alternate is fine instead - F Type Female to RCA Female AdapterSo my rating is possibly based on improper usage of this product...

Will not push into the IEC connector. the outer ring is too small to push in. had to cut off the outer ring sleeve to make it work.

When I first went to install it, it wouldn't insert and I though the outer ring dimension was the same as that on back of receiver, and that there must be a third or fourth version based on inner/ outer gender dimensions. After I pulled receiver out and applied a little more force, it finally slid over the outer contact surface. One thing I'll say, it should never vibrate loose - tight fit! And it work fine for adapting an "F-connector to a PAL.
