Resin Incense Variety Sampler Set of 9 Incense Gift Boxed and in Resealable Bags

I purchased this because I wanted a variety of resins to sample. I found that all of the resins smelled basically the same. The myrrh was slightly sweeter than the benzoin, which was odd because benzoin is known to be very sweet. The benzoin smelled like cedar resin, which is weird because benzoin is supposed to smell like vanilla. There is no information about what is in the blends, so it is possible they have the same scent profile. The white sage and wood smelled normal, but I was more interested in the resin for the purchase. Overall, the scents were not bad, but they do not smell like what they are supposed to smell like.

The resin incenses (Frankincense and Gold Copal) I tried with 33mm Three Kings charcoal melted into a liquid slurry. I have never seen this amount of melt in authentic quality incenses. It was an unpleasant experience. There may be some petroleum based compounds in the resins....based upon scent. This product does provide a wide variety of sample sizes, but I would advise to avoid if you are looking for quality resins to use in a censor with charcoal briquettes.

Amazing product, some would say it includes a few culture-specific things e.g. Palo, sage. But I think it's absolutely wonderful.I've made an anointing oil with frankincense & myrrh, the incense ingredients are a good value for the money. Some could be better quality but they'd be more pricy.My only complaint would be that I wish it included dragon's blood. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a great set.I highly recommend this!

Very nice packaging, presentation gift worthy. Everything inside was neatly labeled and well packaged. Insert described what each resin was and the uses. Also came with a little blessing note and a wafting feather. The resins were very good quality and the scents seemed true to my nose at least. The palo was one of the nicest I've had. I also bought a second box to give as a birthday gift. As it will be my friend's first experience burning resins, I know he'll enjoy this sampler. Definitely worth the purchase price. I will certainly buy from this company again.

I received my order and it was very well put together. Each item has a short description of it's uses. Also comes with a feather to fam the smoke.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. It was carefully packaged and definitely worth the cost. The variety of scents is lovely and its nice having a description of each product with its purpose. It came with little thank you cards at the bottom that added a nice touch.10/10 would (and will) buy again. :)

Well I am super excited about this purchase!! I have never used resins before but we have a huge herbal garden this year and I can't wait to experiment with different blends. Beautifully packaged and a great value for your money. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend.
