Added benefit for my cat, lol
Not what we intended, but a fantastic side effect of our new, densely stuffed, soft canvas style "ottoman" is that my cat thinks it's his, haha.I'm thrilled! We put all of our weighted blankets, and faux fur sofa throws, in there, (bulky, hard to store items) for the spring/summer.I moved it under the livingroom window, and is now the perfect cat sanctuary. As for people, it is strong fabric, and a good size, for an extra seat, when needed. Not too low to the ground, like some I had seen. I'm 6' tall, and it supports me, without worry. Holds A Bunch of blankets (we have 5 throws, and 3 weighted blankets in there, and it could probably stuff at least 2-3 more).I kind of wish I needed more of them!I was worried that placing the weighted blankets would put too much pressure on the seams, but they are strong enough. I like that they keep it solidly placed where we want it - when the cat has zoomies, it doesn't move, and holds its shape.10 thumbs way up!

Ingenious!
This has got to be one of the smartest creations! Perfect for when company is coming and you have to make some space!!! We use ours in our trailer and stuff it with our winter gear and blankets for all the off season trips and get a super comfortable and handy footrest. We've even drug it outside on our rv ground mat to kick back with our camping chairs, the fabric is really good upholstry. It's sturdy, good color choices to hide dirt from shoes and overall a super awesome idea! We love ours!

Comfy but a little sloppy
I bought this pouf for putting my feet on while sitting on the couch and for extra seating in my living room. I thought the varied coloring on the cover would hide dirt, and the orange-red hue gives a muted pop against my blue-gray sofa. The filler I chose was the micro styrofoam beads from Joann—I got those on sale for $28 per bag and used 1.5 bags. Will probably have to refill to account for the beads setting.Pros: easy to fill, soft material, nice color, inexpensive, comfortable.Cons: zipper is visible on the bottom, doesn’t hold its shape as well as I want it to.Because the kids sit on this (and my other pouf) sideways it always looks like the poufs are deflated. I am constantly refluffing them throughout the day. I actually like this one better than the other pouf I got around the same time for around the same price—the other one has stretched considerably.

A great little poof
I have two of these and they have held up well. I had some fabric poofs that weren't holding up well and I put those inside of these covers. I love that they can be thrown in the washing machine as I have 3 kids and well, most people put their feet on them which is what they are supposed to do. These are a great budget friendly, kid and pet friendly poof!

Construction needs tweeking
For the money this is pretty good. It IS a challenge getting it stuffed so that it looks nice and more importantly provides support. I used four pillows, three stacked up on each other and one stuffed beside them. The disappointing thing about this pouf is that the dark blue zipper shows and is ugly; it destroys the look. Why not use a zipper that matches the color of the fabric? And cover the zipper as well. This is why the claim of "high quality construction" doesn't hold up. Overall, I like the color and the fabric, but I would be much happier if the ugly zipper didn't feature so prominently.

Good pouf for recycle/storage filler
If you're looking for an inexpensive pouf to fill with anything other than memory foam (blankets, clothes etc) then this is a great deal. It's huge, soft and comfy. It'll hold a lot of blankets and clothes. I have 5 lbs of memory foam at the top and 3 blankets in mine and I still need to add more.If you're looking for a pouf to fill with memory foam, don't waste your money. I bought one 5 lbs bag of memory foam which was on the cheaper end of $25 after taxes and it doesn't come close to filling this thing. I think at LEAST 20 lbs of memory foam would fill it and still not be quite firm enough. At that point you'd have spent $100+ on cheaper memory foam filler and $20 on your inexpensive pouf. With it at that much, you might as well give in and just buy one of the fancier pre-filled poufs you're trying to avoid because of the cost (like I was) and get something nicer looking that's firm.

Doesn’t open enough
The big issue is that the zippered opening isn’t on all 3 sides. The zipper only allows for a small, half opening. So if you’re filling it with an actual insert, you won’t be able to. I filled it with king size blankets. It was very difficult to get them in that small opening. Because of this flaw, it’s not very functional for me, as we wash our comforters often and need to get them in/out of the pouf weekly. On the plus side, the color was true to listing, it looked nice, craftsmanship was good. The fabric was thinner than I had expected, so I’m not sure how it would hold up to being stuffed or normal wear and tear. I worry the seams would come undone. This was able to hold a quilt, puffy comforter, down alternative lightweight comforter - all king size. I will be returning this. Instead I got 2 different sized covers from Redearth on Amazon. Those are great! The fabrics are thick and sturdy, like a nice woven rug. Their only downfall is the 20” one was actually 18” and the 18” one was actually 16”.

Very stirdy
Perfect size for my ottoman. My beads started leaking out of my original one and rather than throw it out I bought the cover. Definitely a great deal!!
