I wanted a large bag and this one is well made and pretty close to the size I wanted. Well made.

The media could not be loaded.  I received this tote from the manufacturer at no cost for evaluation during the product's launch, and here are my thoughts.First of all, this tote bag is a steal at it's current price of just over $100. It's beautiful, large enough to carry a 15" laptop as well as books and folders, and it's made from full grain leather (just like my Coach bag), and not split leather or lesser grades like many of the totes near this price point are. The leather is evenly dyed, has a gorgeous patina, and is as soft as my Italian leather coat. Every seam is meticulously stitched, stress points are well reinforced, and the bottom even has brass feet protectors to protect it from scuffs.Measuring 14" across, 11" high, and 5" wide, the bag comes with comfortably rounded carry handles with an 11" drop, so you can carry it by hand or over a shoulder. It also has a detachable leather shoulder strap that adjusts long enough so you can carry the tote over a shoulder or cross body, and it attaches discretely inside the bag providing a streamlined appearance.This is an open top bag that offers plenty of storage capacity. There's a zippered compartment on the rear of the bag that's handy for keys, sunglasses, or other items you want handy, and more storage compartments inside the bag itself. The inside of the bag is fully lined in an attractive lighter brown fabric with a lovely heart motif, and it's structured into two main compartments divided by detachable zippered closing canvas center bag. The hardware on this bag is all metal, and the zippers all open and close smoothly.Inside the bag are open pouches on the rear wall for cell phone, battery bank or other gadgets plus pen holders, and the front wall has a long zippered compartment that could hold a wallet, checkbook, or makeup, and the detachable canvas center bag also has a zippered compartment within it that could hold lipstick, compact, keys, or other items as well.Even with the canvas bag inside, the tote has plenty of room for everyday essentials as well as a laptop, folders, books, making it perfect for work, school, travel, or everyday use, and it has even more open storage when the center bag is removed. This is top quality leather, so be sure to use leather cleaner to keep it clean, and use a leather conditioner every once in a while to keep it soft and supple, and it should last you for many years to come.
