Great workout
I haven’t done any skipping in years since being at school. (I am 66 & struggle a bit with my weight) I wanted to exercise by using a cheap cardio workout that might be fun. I hate running and not a great walker. I go to yoga when I can as husband has dementia. I have always admired the way boxers skip, it’s mesmerizing to me how they skip with minimal effort by slightly jumping up and down but achieving so much in fitness.I saw this skipping rope on offer approx £6 after having a glass or 2 of wine (like you do LoL!😅) and pressed that Amazon ‘Buy-button’.Well, they arrived, read the instruction on how to shorten them to my height (5ft 1”). Went on utube to get the info on how to skip properly without breaking my neck and then me and the dog 🐶 went to give it a try 😂. My pouch gave me that “what’s she going now look”!!!!!!!! At first I could only manage a about 3 revolutions without the rope/wire stopping at me feet but NOW I am up to around 50 revs and getting better for longer breathing permitting 😅 don’t be put off you keep stopping there is a bit of a technique to it which isn’t difficult, see utube.I just love this little kit. It’s light and comfortable in your hands. The rope/wire moves around in the handle so it doesn’t twist, and It’s not expensive especially if it turns out to be a fad like so many gym items I have bought over the years.Well! it’s a great work out for getting your heart rate going, you can do it in privacy without anyone laughing at you, it’s fun whilst burning calories and best of all is small enough to be portable and store away with minimal space. All in all a very good buy and would highly recommend. 🙋

Excellent skipping rope for all levels
I am a beginner at skipping and my friend is an expert, and we have both come to the same conclusion, that this is an excellent skipping rope for all levels. The handles have a very premium feel (soft in the hands, nice texture and stylish design with the black and red). The rope itself is of a material that is very durable and strong yet still light and compact. The lengths of the rope can easily be adjusted as the handles unscrew allowing you to manipulate the length of the rope to suit your height. Brilliant!

Up your jumping to a pro level!
Takes jumping rope to a professional level! With the swivel joint, steel cable, and memory foam handles, this is the best one I've used.I've been using it for a week now and thought it would be heavy, but I was really happy that it is very light, and that includes the handles. Getting the measurements for cutting the extra cable is where you need to be especially careful, so I would consider simply tying knots in the cable (extremely easy, I did it - see pic!) because then you can use it do different techniques with a longer or shorter lead. I watched several training videos to learn jump rope techniques for martial arts and I'm sure there are all sorts for whatever one is interested in doing. Very comfortable to hold, the design of the handles is as those have great padding.I've used other jump ropes in the past, and this one by far is the best. Try it and up your game!

This thing is fast!!!
Arrived in a simple plastic bag (no unnecessary storage pouch). The foam covered handles are very comfortable; grip well and wipe down easily after use. There are no instructions in the package for how to adjust but there are on the site (and it’s easy to do). At first I thought the handles were too light but actually, it works quite nicely And allows you to focus on speed rather than an arm workout. Talking of speed, this rope can go fast!!! Once you get a good rhythm, the combination of weighted cable and bearings mean you can get a really great workout! Just ensure you wear socks for the first time you mistime a jump and whip your shins...you’ll only do it once!!!

Not all skipping ropes are made the same
Strange thing to find one's self impressed with a skipping rope. However this was not the first I had tried, and there is no price difference between this one and the ones I have tried before - but the price is pretty much were the similarities finish.First thing I should mention, I brought this for myself, a 49 year old man desperate to lose a few extra pounds in lock down, but as soon as it arrived my nine year old son wanted to use it. First issue - I thought - length of the rope. Well, not a problem, this is easily adjusted within the handles by simply pulling the cord through a small holder to the desired length, the left over length can either be removed if you are adjust it permanently or wrapped up and left in the handle as we do so we can adjust if for whoever is using it (try and level this out between the two handles so the weight remains balanced). While I'm on the subject of the rope, it is actually a thin cable wrapped in a thick layer of plastic, which not only protects it from the elements (no wet rope effect) but also gives a nice swing action. Issues I have had with previous products is that the ropes seemed so light that they did not seem to loop round with your hands and almost 'floated' behind. There is no such issue with this skipping rope as it feels natural and responsive. One word of warning to the foolish like myself - if you get carried away before you are good enough - the rope can hurt a little when it hits your leg, but nothing too extreme and didn't leave a mark or anything, just taught me to walk before I could run. This has been used now almost constantly for over a week for play with my son, and for 'serious' skipping for me (maybe replace serious with embarrassing), and I foresee many more weeks, months and even years usage of it.The handles themselves feel comfortable for both my adult hands and my nine years old. Over all I am extremely happy with this purchase, and if you are looking for a skipping rope then I can see no reason way you would look any further.
