Nice Plug and Play unit with add-ons
Great hot tub so far. After reading and reviewing multiple Hot Tub options we decided on this model. Ozonator and cover are a nice bonus. Prepare yourself for a large crate to be delivered to your home. The delivery driver was able to move the crate along our sidewalk and to the patio for placement. We did help maneuver the crate (shown in photo). Friends helped lay the hot tub down. The access panel removal is a little trickier than the directions show. 2 corner panels need to be unscrewed to remove the access panel. This is a nice spa with good jet power for a plug and play unit.

Missing components! Poor customer service
While we were initially happy to find this spa on Amazon and Prime eligible, but, our experience has been less than ideal. It arrived without the cover! If you have ever owned a hot tub you know that an insulated cover is absolutely a 'key' component. My initial call to Amazon customer service went fairly well, they reached out to the freight company to see if they could locate the large box the cover ships in, unfortunately they had no luck. The second option given to me initially was that Amazon could reach out to the manufacturer who surely would promptly furnish me the cover. When I asked them to go ahead and call the manufacturer I was informed that actually they couldn't do that, that I would have to make the call myself. Way to stand behind the products sold on your platform Amazon, "We'll help you up until we have to actually do something". A call to Strong Spas didn't go very well, the customer service agent seemed very unsurprised that I had no cover and said they would do everything they could to get a cover to me. Suspiciously I HAD TO ASK that they take my name and phone number, which tells me they aren't going to do anything. Her warning at the end of the call that a new cover could take 30-50 WEEKS to arrive due to the pandemic was quite ominous. So I took to their website, surely I could get their attention by registering my $4,000 product and noting my displeasure. I let them know that in addition to the cover, I am missing the lid to the cooler and one of the jets is non-functioning. I didn't even get as much as a bounce-back email from that effort, great service Strong Spas. For their part Amazon has offered to allow me to return the tub, which logistically seems like a NIGHTMARE, are you going to hire a moving company to come drain this and pick it up??? Wouldn't it be much easier to just get me my cover? They also gave me a partial refund "for my trouble" which, I could use to purchase an insulated cover. Except that every manufacturer is quoting 3-5 weeks for delivery. Which leaves me torn between trusting Strong Spas to come through with a replacement or spending $500 on another cover and waiting. In the meantime I had to MAKE my own insulated cover out of foam board insulation, plastic, and duct tape to try to keep the water in my tub warm (and prevent the heater from running 24/7). Now we are just stuck in limbo, out thousands of dollars and with a dysfunctional spa. There is a reason most rational people don't make purchases like this online, it can quickly become a huge nightmare. Find a local Spa dealer and save yourself the hassle.

So Far Exceeding My Expectations for a Plug N Play
After a lot of debate, my wife and I decided on a Plug N Play model. My research brought me to this Essentials 30-Jet option. Despite being told by many store owners that plug n play's are not great, take almost a day to heat up, and the jets will struggle on anything bigger than a 3-person capacity. So far they were wrong... First off, the hot tub arrived upright, packaged well, and wrapped in a wood box about 4' x 8'. It took 4 guys to transfer it on 2 furniture dolly's rolling it across plywood. Once unwrapped and plugged in, it took about 9 hours to get from 77 to 95 degrees (we have since raised it to 98). I would HIGHLY recommend filling it with a pre-filter as well and get your water tested initially at a reputable supply store. We have used it a handful of times so far, and while I cannot vouch for its reliability or longevity, it has performed well. We have squeezed 3 adults, an 8 year old, and a 1 year old in fairly comfortably, the jets are quite powerful on high...I think others just have unrealistic expectations, and the lounger is very relaxing. I will try and post an update after a year or so but the first reaction is a very good product...would recommend.

Item worked perfectly for 4 hours, and then would not run.
The item worked perfectly for 4 hours, could get to run afterwards. Called their customer service, and they had me do a couple of things, but it still would not run. They said it was the controller box and would send a replacement and tech in 7 to 10 days to replace it. Item arrived in excellent shape and ran perfectly for 4 hours, now waiting on the tech to fix it. It has been one month and still no tech has come to fix it. Customer Service is terrible.

So far, excellent hot tub!
The media could not be loaded. Received this item yesterday (3 days earlier than expected). While I followed the instructions provided, it turned out I didn’t need to. The cord was already removed from the unit and ready to plug in. All seals were tight and the unit was ready to go. Some small amount of antifreeze to clean out, but had it full and heating by the end of the day.Only one delivery person, but my wife, 19 year old stepson and I were able to get it where it needed to be. Today I am able to soak my sore back in 95 degree water and am super pleased with this tub!

Directions SUCK!
NOT plug and play. So super frustrated at this point. Figured I’d get my lovely new hot tub, fill it and be enjoying it the first day. Firstly, I’m alone and spent yesterday Saturday, prying the hot tub from its gigantic crate. The delivery guy was kind enough to help me get it in close proximity to where I needed it, but I spent hours heaving and pushing it into place by myself. Here I am Sunday following the directions for how to flush the lines from the antifreeze they put in. Sounds simple enough. Yet here I am after spending 5 hours unscrewing panels, screwing on a hose, going back and forth to look at directions and hoping to find a help video on line. Can’t find the damn drain valve, directions are vague at best the water I was directed to put in foot well is still there and I’m about ready to call it a day.Haven’t even started filling it up. Panels are all off and now I’m just PISSED!. So - can’t even review how the product works because so far - it isn’t.
