THE ONLY BOOK TO ACCOMPANY EVERY LIANGONG VIDEO!!!
I just started practicing Lian Gong in 18 Forms about a month ago to finally get rid of all the tension, back pain, tightness, and inflexibility that western exercise such as weight lifting, aerobics, and rowing machines has caused me! I am completely amazed that in only one month I can feel it all fading away! I purchased every video available on Liangong, including the $100.00 set from the actual inventor himself! The videos are all great, the books are all good, except for one MAJOR flaw!! None of them offer breathing instructions!! The most any book or video will tell you is that you breath in when expanding and stretching, and out when relaxing. Except in certain cases, there are exceptions, which they never explain. Well, this book tells it all! If you purchase any of the videos, you MUST, I repeat MUST buy this book! Not only is it well written, but it gives you all the secrets! Buy it NOW!

A good basic book on therapeutic Qigong you may want to check out.
As a senior citizen who has had a lifetime of interest in numerous martial and healing arts, (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga, Energy Healing and many other systems), I am always seeking new and unique material on the above subjects. This is why when I saw this 118-page soft cover book (Natural Healing with Qigong: Therapeutic Qigong by Dr. Aihan Kuhn, CMD) on Amazon I decided to purchase it.Though I have read and studied numerous Tai Chi/Qigong systems and books over the years, and actually teach a seated program to seniors; nevertheless, I enjoyed reading this Qigong book. This informative text explains Qigong in easy-to-understand terms and the black and white photographs are clear showing the exercises; however, as I stress (even my own manuals) when reviewing any psychomotor type of book, there is nothing that can take the place of hands-on training with a teacher or instructor. This book is organized into three parts covering the following topics: qigong and its benefits-what is Qigong? Comparing Tai Chi and Qigong, comparing Qigong and western exercise, Qigong and Chinese medicine, Qigong and the healing process, health benefits of Qigong practice, Qigong research data, positive aspects of Qigong, what you need to know about Qigong. The second part deals with Therapeutic Qigong and covers the actual Qigong exercise programs to achieve positive results. The final part is about students and patients speak and final words. There is also a recommended reading list. I personally liked the hand and face massage methods section because I was not familiar with that Qigong practice until I read this book.In conclusion, this is a good book for beginners to Qigong, but the most benefit in my opinion, is to take Qigong from a qualified instructor who can guide you while studying this book at the same time.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Chair/Seated Taichi/Qigong/Yoga stretching for seniors and the physically challenged).

This stuff works
I have done the program she describes years ago and regretfully stopped. Her descriptions and photos of the exercises are very easy to follow; if you want some videos just go to you tube and search for Lian Gong. Do not expect superstar fitness. Instead you will experience a terrific feeling of walking around wellness. I bought the kindle version because I have it on both my tablet and phone. Buy it today.
