Sump pump for a 20 gallon tank!
I use this pump in a sump on a 20 gallon planted tank with female Betta fish. Its the only pump I use .It raises the water up to my tank 3.5 ft and does a fantastic job.It came with a small piece of sponge filter material which helps catch debri but I have to clean i once a week. The case is easy to open..Not hard like some. I'd recommend this pump for anyone who needs a lift pump.I don't need a lot of flow or current because Bettas dislike it.It does a good job for what I need it for.

Works great.
Great little pump, was the exact replacement I needed for my CloneBucket. 9/18/18 update-Unfortunately it crapped out in under 6 months of use, back in May.

Works better than expected
This pump actually ended up being more pressure than I needed. It seriously pumped water for my aquaponics/hydroponics project phenomenally.

Think of the price as an annual subscription price, not a one-time purchase price.
This pump has worked alright; but it died one month out of warranty. I'm not sure that's a coincidence in manufacturing these days.Maybe $15/year isn't that bad if you think of it as an annual subscription to a pump (as opposed to a purchase price on a pump that will last).Does anyone else have similar experience? Leave a comment in case we can establish a "buy two" outlook about this Elemental pump.

They are easy to take apart to clean and even easier to ...
I have 11 vivariums and terrariums and use this pump in my 7 vivariums. They have been in use now for over a year and I've had not 1 single problem with them jamming up or burning out. They are easy to take apart to clean and even easier to put back together. Don't let the price fool you, they are a knockout for your money.Master Chef Daryl
