Good Value for Price--Elastic for Masks
I like this elastic. I ordered it in the 10 yard length for $5.25 with free shipping. After ordering it, I decided I should have ordered more and checked the listing and found I could get 20 yards (at that time) for $3.69 with free shipping. (I have looked up the product since then and the prices have fluctuated since I placed my order a week ago.) The 2 separate orders arrived on the same day and in less than a week; much faster than indicated when I placed the order. The 10 yard package was flat 1/4" elastic and is kind of light violet color rather than bright white and came in a small ziplock bag. The color was NOT a problem for me because I'm using it on masks and am not matching whites. It appears to have good stretch and I am hopeful it will hold up to washings and wear. Since I cannot purchase elastic in my area I am really pleased with this purchase. My 20 yard order ended up being elastic cording and came in 2 small ziplock bags. It is bright white and soft to the touch, so I believe it will be very comfortable around ears for masks. I haven't washed it either, but am hopeful it too will hold up to use and wear. I included photos to show the 2 kinds of elastic I received even though the product picture indicated both packages should have been the flat type. The difference in type was not a problem for me for what I was using the elastic for, but it might be for some.

LOVE the size and color
I bought this to make cloth mask due to the NEED of them. Perfect size, perfect color, right length that I ordered (actually a little more). The only thing I saw that needed to be addressed is the seconds it would take to wrap this stuff on a piece of cardboard, index cards, empty toilet paper roll.....SOMETHING!...or even doing it like the picture shows... Instead of wadding it up and stuffing it in a 3" x 4" bag! I spent 20 minutes trying to get it UNTANGLED. First appearance goes a lonnnnnnng way!

The black is much softer and more flexible than the white.
They serve the purpose but are not as comfortable behind ears for masks as the round elastic I bought. However, they are much easier work with when making masks. They are easy to sew in place. For some reason, the black is much softer and has more stretch than the white. If you are using these for masks, get the black not the white. The black is much more comfortable behind the ears.

Heavier quality
I’ve purchased large rolls of elastic recently to be used for masks. They were very lightweight...suitable for masks. Now I am making clothing that needed elastic, and I doubt whether that would hold up. This is much heavier...probably too heavy for masks, but it should work well for my new project. It is not while, more of a gray, but that didn’t matter to me.

One day!
I was searching for flat elastic bands that were "fulfilled by Amazon" with next day delivery. Got just what I needed. I especially liked that I could start with a small order with the option of making a larger purchase of the same material in the future.I'm replacing ear loops with head bands on some KN95 masks that I bought. These bands stick to the mask fabric very well with a drop or two of super glue gel.A big THANK YOU to the other reviewers here. There was so much to choose from.

A little grayer in color than shown
I bought this elastic to make masks for covid 19. The quality seems fine, but the color is a little more blue-gray than I'd like. I was expecting it to be a bright white, but it wasn't. Other than that, it was fine and I was still able to use it for the purpose that I purchased it for.

Not the best choice for ear loops.
If you're buying this for making your own face masks during this Covid scare, I find that this width of material is too wide and too strong for looping around the ears. In retrospect, I personally would have preferred a smaller size width.Otherwise, it is good quality and a good price.

Comfort
I find the 1/8" to be narrow enough to not rub on ears. However, it's one cut fits all as I make cloth masks for different size faces. The narrowness makes it a little hard to handle, but it's more comfortable than the 1/4".
