SAFER PHYSICAL THERAPY BALANCE TRAINING AT HOME!
Having benefited from physical therapy several times over the last few years, I know that balance exercises are strongly incorporated into PT regimens. Compromised or aging joints require extra care (not to mention the demands of climbing stairs) and, now that COVID-19 has limited public options, I needed safe balance training at home. After seeing the design of the 60up Balance System I ordered one. Mine arrived promptly in good condition, no problems, via UPS. Unfortunately for Amazon Prime customers this item is NOT Prime eligible, so I had to pay an additional shipping charge. No free returns either, if needed. The 60up may look like a colorful big toy, but its design is serious for the purpose – really impressive. The base platform is solidly molded and very sturdy – you feel confidently supported. Assembly was straightforward. The 2020 model replaced the silver base pins with built-in all red pole pins. Simply follow the enclosed Quick Setup sheet. And, according to a response from Dan Metcalfe, there is now an online printable Manual illustrating 35 exercises in case users can't watch Facebook, DVD or YouTube video every time. Sometimes quiet or simply listening to music helps you with your progress on the balance board. All in all, the 60up is an innovative addition to quality physical therapy tools. I wish my physical therapy facility had been using these. Thank you for designing an exceptional product and continuing to improve it!

Excited about this device!
Got this for my 92-year old wife who has had a right knee replacement. She fell three years later and needed hip repair. Following her hip repair and after her therapy came to an end, she became less active and her ability to walk confidently deteriorated greatly. It effected her emotionally as well. So, I ordered this last week and was very impressed with how sturdy and well-made it is. Today was her second day on it and I've already seen a big improvement from when she was on it for the first time two days ago. Her walking has not improved so much yet, but they say it will after three weeks. But, I am amazed at how well she is able to control herself on the board in such a short time. I will be posting updates and videos of her progress. She enjoys the workouts as she follows along with the Bob Eubanks videos. They are excellent!

Fairly good product
I like the product quite well, and hopes it helps my tendency in the past few years of tripping and falling. HOWEVER, one of the red plastic rings on the handles fell off, and broke without much effort. So, now I don't know how to find another one.

The CEO stands behind the product and cares about the customer.
I bought this for my dad for his 90th birthday and he insisted it wasn't stable enough for him and unfortunately sent it back outside the normal Amazon channel. This meant according to policy they could not refund me the money I spent. When I voiced my displeasure with the policy, the CEO (Dan Metcalf) took it upon himself to get to the bottom of the problem. He truly demonstrated a deep concern that my Dad couldn't use the Balance system and went out of his way to ensure I did get a refund even though my Dad sent it back using the wrong method. I think my Dad should've given it a better chance but as form me, I plan on using the Balance system myself when I get to the point of stability problems thanks to the way Dan treated me.

DVD that comes with unit no good.
60up is well built and is a helpful unit. The DVD that comes with the unit is useless, reducing the 60up's usefulness.

Unable to Assemble without Modifying with my Drill
As I unpacked the 60Up platform and the aluminum (more sturdy) poles (sold separately), I noticed something wrong with the base after looking over the simple setup instructions. There are four pole placement positions on the board, each with a ~2 inch collar protruding from the base platform where you stand. The poles go down into these holes and a little retractible "button" is meant to pop into one of the two pre-drilled hole on the sides of each collar. This prevents the pole from being pulled out of its hole. Then you can use the provided "key" to depress the button back through the hole to release the pole from the collar/hole. But here's where the problem started. On the right side of the board the two collars did have the pre-drilled holes, BUT ... the holes were not even close to being large enough to allow the poles "button" pop into it once the pole was positioned down into the collar. I ended up having to drill out those holes to TWICE their pre-drilled diameter to get the pole's keeper button to pop through it!But that wasn't the biggest issue. The other two collars on the left side of the board DIDN'T HAVE ANY PRE-DRILLED HOLES AT ALL! I had to drill them myself!I didn't end up looking at the the included set of plastic poles to see if the button on those poles would have fit the pre-drilled holes, but it really didn't matter as two of the four collars had no holes.Unclear if I got a bad batch/lot, but wanted to make sure I posted this review to make buyers aware of my experience. As this was a Christmas gift for my wife, I didn't have time to return for a different one, so I just went ahead and modified the thing to make it work.

Great product! A real workout in small controlled steps.
Under-promise and over-deliver makes for a happy customer. This was supposed to arrive by July 22nd, and came today, July 10th! I had it set up and ready to go in minutes. I put the You Tube video class on my big screen TV and it is really like being in a class. For such small controlled movements, I worked up quite a sweat. Great product and great seller. I can see using this every day easily.

Increadably sturdy and safe
I am a 35 year old with a movement disorder. I ended up ordering this product and I am so glad I did. For me, it is enough of a workout to do before work without getting exuasted. And, it trains my brain. I never imagined how such little movements and the correct placements involve as much process as they do. After using this for 3 days, I already feel more confident, and I can not wait to see the difference it makes after 3 weeks!
