ViQing Tape Works
Bought the ViQing tape as an alternative to a more expensive and well known brand. I have experienced left knee pain and the PT at the VA suggested taping. It works to alleviate my pain and provide stability to the knee. The ViQing tape works just as well as the other brands and it is staying in place longer. First try at taping was unsuccessful, the tape did not stay on for very long, but I did not clean my knee as I should have. You need to clean the area thoroughly and I used an alcohol based sanitizer and let it dry before applying and its still on going on day 4. Its been through mowing, gardening, showers and general daily abuse. Only reason for 4/5, haven't had it on long enough and have not removed it yet.

Better than kttape, very good with vibram five fingers.
I've been using original KT tape for a while now for my Achilles problems during my runs. I run exclusively in vibram five fingers, about 20 miles per week. After I ran out of the KT stuff I thought I'd try several other brands due to my dissatisfaction with the way the KT brand would peel up at the edges where I would put on the tight fitting VFFs, which I also wear for everyday use during non-running times. I've been using the Viqing tape for about three weeks now and find it much superior to the KT brand as it relates to its "stay on" ability. Unlike the KT brand, it doesn't curl up at the edges when I put on my VFFs. The KT brand would often only last me one run and would then peel up at the corners after I next put on a pair of socks. Since I have to use the tape on the heel of my foot, the stickiness of the tape is very important to me.I've found the tape a bit stickier than what I am used to and have lost a bit more leg hair as a result. No big deal, eventually I won't have any hair left there and it will be good. I've been able to use each strip of tape four to five days, running or working out each day. Some may find the fact that it's not precut as a bad thing. Personally, I find that it is more economical that way since you can use just want you need. If this is your first time using such a product you'll need to hit the company website (or any other similar site) for directions on how to apply since no such directions come with the product... A good ecological choice imo.I highly recommend rounding the four corners of the tape when you are cutting a length, before application obviously. I believe this lowers the chance that the tape gets caught on something and pulls away from your skin.

6 Day Test... Training For a Marathon
I didn't expect this product to be supportive as a regular brace. I've always used a knee brace on my runs and this has exceeded my expectations. I did a full knee support using this tape and have done numerous activities that include working out my legs. I am currently training for my first full and would like to have a knee support that is not as bulky as your regular braces. The tape itself is a cloth material that is stretchable for sports activities unlike your regular athletic tape that pretty much immobilizes the joint. I feel like this tape is better than a regular knee brace because the joint is still mobile to compensate for any road imperfections and training the muscles to compensate unlike a regular brace that is very limiting to my knees' mobility. I've taken several showers with this on and it didn't peel off. Although the 4th day it started to get stringy and I would just cut the strands off, this maybe in part of me drying it off with a paper towel after a shower because it stays wet and I'm sure the other products with this type of material does the same. Listed below are the activities I've done and it supported my knees pretty well and couldn't recommend it enough.Day 1: 10 Mile Road RunDay 2: Strength Training: Lunges, Calf Raises, and Stationary BikeDay 3: 4.65 Mile Treadmill RunDay 4: Strength Training: Squats, Calf Raises, Stationary BikeDay 5: RestDay 6: 18 Mile Road RunI bought this on Amazon because it was the cheapest one I've found and as long as it stays cheap I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. I paid $18.97 for this.BONUS Note: If you have hairy legs like me, try taking it off in the shower with soap so it doesn't pull your hair.

5 stars relative to price
For reference I've tried a fair amount of the kinesiology tapes out there. This so far is by far the best price @ 42 cents per foot. I just used it today for the first time and wrapped my Achilles on both sides, as well as my right knee and part of right arm for forearm pronater issues (basically golfer's elbow) for my baseball game today. Ya, probably too old to still be playing, but hey.. It made the entire game without issues, and I left it on throughout the day. Started to have a few minor issues at the edges after the shower, but this is to be expected when using the cheaper cotton brands out there.I guess to sum it up, there's two types of tape I would recommend buying. If you are looking for something to use for a single day, buy this ViQing Gear tape (note: the current seller has bulk discounts starting at 2 units, so if you are old like me and use a lot..). If you want something to last upwards of three days + including through showers, by the official KT tape "pro" ...be sure to get the synthetic, the cotton is basically the same as this, and as such a waste of money comparatively. For those buying this tape, be sure to search YouTube for KT tape's official channel. Or just search KT Tape (issue) ...like KT tape knee support, and you'll probably find the vid. They have great videos, and it is WAY easier to get it taped correctly watching a video than reading some random free snippet you get on how to apply. My 38 cents (2 cents + inflation from date of inception of saying)
