TecoomAW9379 Professional Water Pump Kit with Gasket Fit for Mercedes-Benz C240 E430 E500 SLK320 Crossfire

The original pump on my '01 SLK 320 and finally started weeping coolant. I found this model replacement online and most reviews were reasonable. Included the rubber gasket and a paper gasket with the kit. I assume the paper gasket is for other cross-models since this was during the Benz/Daimler years. I did have to find a diagram for all the various size bolt placements for the reinstall but those images can be found with a Google Search pretty quickly. There are two holes on the pump assembly at the top for a mounting plate for a wired sensor and vacuum sensor. On the original pump, these were threaded. On this assembly, the holes are a little bit larger bore and not threaded. I used (2) 1/2" long self tapping metal screws instead. No issues with that solution. Other DIY'rs mentioned tapping them out to a larger threaded bolt size but you do not have to if you don't have those options in your tool box.All in all, the pump works as advertised.

Pump doesn't fit 2003 Mercedes C240 W211. It's missing the upper oil cooler water connector! Be aware. 2 stars because it was wrong advertising that it fits the 2.6 liter engine.
